Nick Jonas slid into Miley Cyrus‘s DMs, and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, had something to say about it.
On Tuesday, Cyrus, 26, posted a screenshot of her direct messages with Jonas, 26. After she posted an old photo of herself wearing a Jonas Brothers T-shirt, the “Sucker” singer sent her a DM that read, “Amazing. These throwback shots have been [fire emoji].”
Instead of keeping the messages private, though, Cyrus blasted Jonas with the caption, “That moment when even your ex knows your socials have been [fire emojis].”
Chopra, 36, then wrote in the comments, “Lol. Hahaha… Hubby is right. These posts are [fire emoji].”
On the popular Instagram account Comments by Celebs, followers pointed out that Chopra may have purposefully used the word “hubby” to stake her claim. She and Jonas have been married since December.
Cyrus and Jonas dated for about a year from 2006 to 2007, but fans of Cyrus think the “Wrecking Ball” singer is not trying to stir the pot because she is married to Liam Hemsworth.
Hemsworth did not comment on the thread, but he and Chopra also know each other well. They recently starred together in the romantic comedy film, “Isn’t It Romantic.”
After Cyrus and Chopra’s Instagram exchange, Jonas also did not comment, but Chopra did share that her husband suprised her with a Maybach to celebrate the Jonas Brothers’ latest single going No. 1.
