EXCLUSIVE: Meryl Streep seen for FIRST TIME since split with husband Don Gummer and is STILL wearing her wedding band – as she enjoys a night out for Joni Mitchell’s 80th birthday

Meryl Streep was spotted out for the first time since splitting with husband Don Gummer.

The 74-year-old actress was still wearing her wedding ring and looked to be in high spirits as she enjoyed a night out for Joni Mitchell’s 80th birthday party in Los Angeles.

She was spotted with her son, Henry Wolfe, 43, as they joined other A-list names including Goldie Hawn, Cyndi Lauper and Anjelica Huston at the Smoke House Restaurant in Burbank, California.

Over two weeks earlier, it was revealed she had split with her husband after 45 years of marriage and had actually been separated ‘for more than six years’ already.

For her first public outing since the shocking announcement, The Devil Wears Prada star put on a stylish display rocking a black, latex button-down blouse.

Joni Mitchell’s birthday bash: She was spotted with her son, Henry Wolfe, 43, as they joined other A-list names including Goldie Hawn, Cyndi Lauper and Anjelica Huston at the Smoke House Restaurant in Burbank, California

She teamed the top with a pair of elegant, gray dress pants and a chic, pointed-toe black bootie.

To match the iridescent style of her top, she carried a periwinkle blue clutch purse as well as her phone in her hand during the outing.

The Mamma Mia alumna left her usual honey blonde and white hair down and slicked back out of her face.

She sported a pair of her iconic glasses with a black, cat-eye frame.

She also accessorized with a pair of sapphire dangling earrings and was spotted with her wedding band still clearly visible on her ring finger.

At her side, her eldest child and only son looked effortlessly stylish with a black blazer worn over a classic, white T-shirt.

He donned loose-fitting dress pants and crisp, white sneakers to attend the bash with his mother. 

He was spotted holding another jacket in his arm as he left the restaurant with Streep and headed to their car together.

Back in October, it was revealed that Streep and Gummer, her husband of 45 years, have been separated ‘for more than six years’ after deciding to live their ‘lives apart’.

The pair initially tied the knot in 1978 and share four children — Henry as well as Mamie, 40, Grace, 37, and Louisa Jacobson, 30. 

In a statement shared to Page Six, a spokesperson said that the couple ‘have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart.’ 

According to the outlet, Streep has not made any public appearances with Gummer since the 2018 Oscars ceremony. 

The former couple were first introduced through Meryl’s brother in 1978 and married later that same year in September during a romantic ceremony in the garden of her parents’ house.
