Gigi and Bella Hadid’s older sister Alana, 40, models a RIPPED dress and MUD on her arms as she makes NY Fashion Week catwalk debut
Gigi and Bella Hadid’s older half-sister Alana has made her New York Fashion Week catwalk debut aged 40.
The model strutted down the runway in the Elene Velez show in a ripped beige corset-style gown, accessorized with lace gloves and white knee-high boots, on Tuesday.
The star – whose parents are Mohamed Hadid, 74, and Mary Butler – also had white mud on her arms.
Sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the big day, Alana gushed on Instagram: ‘Thank you @elenavelez for letting me wear your gorgeous creation and play in the mud with you last night. I’m so honored. What a masterpiece.
‘Thank you to your amazing team Cc: @andrewcurwen @joe.van.o (and a special thank you @nadinematar for the perfect BTS and @hoybot I love you).’
Elene Velez commented back: ‘Thank you for bringing this wild evening to life.’

Last month, Alana walked in Saks Potts’ spring 2024 show at Copenhagen Fashion Week, and days before, she walked for Munthe.
She told PEOPLE of making her debut in Denmark: ‘I said yes, as it’s something that I’ve decided to do in my 40s — just say yes to a lot of things, and it was amazing.
‘It was phenomenal.’
The Hadid Eyewear co-owner has big aspirations.
She said: ‘I think I found something else that I’m really passionate about in fashion, and it’s exhilarating. I would love to do it all over the world.’
Her supermodel siblings, Gigi, 28, and Bella, 26, have been so supportive of the fashion designer’s move into modelling.
Alana added: ‘We’re a super supportive family of all the things that everyone’s doing. We’re always doing a million things, and we just support each other.
‘They were like, ‘You’re going to kill it.’

Alana made her catwalk debut during Copenhagen Fashion Week on August 10.

The fashion show took place on a rainy beach in the Danish capital on the first day of its fashion week.
The daughter of Mohammed Hadid and his ex-wife Mary Butler wore a sheer gold dress and she was also seen in blue sequin skirt layered over jeans with a cropped caramel leather jacket and flip-flops.
Alana posted a behind-the-scenes look at her catwalk debut on Instagram and captioned it: ‘Core memory made in Denmark with Saks Potts, my first runway! Thank you Barbara Potts and Cathrine Saks, what a way to arrive to Copenhagen, opening for the most amazing brand… in the rain.’

When she is not modeling in international fashion shows, Alana is a fashion designer, who co-founded La Detresse in 2017.
In addition to Alana, her parents also have another daughter, Marielle Hadid, 42.
Alana looked joyful in her BTS shots from the fashion show which included test shots, the application of temporary tattoos and getting her dressed and runway ready.
Alana’s Copenhagen Fashion Week debut comes about a week after she celebrated her 40th birthday.
She threw a Grecian Goddess-style party in a lushly landscaped backyard and shared several snaps from the festivities on Instagram.
‘My Grecian Goddess Dream 40th. I feel so blessed and loved and cherished surrounded by my friends and family from all over the world,’ she captioned the post.
‘Special thank you to the dreamer of the dream for me @mariellemama and my amazing boyfriend.’
Alana’s big week comes as her half sister Bella, 26, got back to work after taking five months off for medical reasons.

Bella has been battling Lyme disease for years and took a break from modeling to address recent health issues.
‘First day back on set in 5 months!’ she wrote on TikTok as she offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at her day.
Hadid — who has been keeping fans updated on her ongoing health issues — looked refreshed and upbeat while filming herself in the hair and makeup chair.
The new TikTok was posted on the same day that the supermodel shared a look at her getting a medical treatment on Instagram.
