Married At First Sight UK: ‘Honestly just stop!’ Viewers SLAM Jonathan for saying he doesn’t want to be with a woman who has muscly ‘horse legs’

Viewers have slammed Married At First Sight star Jonathan Wileman for saying he doesn’t want to be with a woman who has muscly ‘horse legs’.

The TV star and his new wife Sophie Brown were discussing the gym when he made the comment which left viewers begging him to ‘stop’ talking about womens’ bodies.

The pair were joined at dinner by fellow married couple Thomas Hartley and Adrian Anderson who looked uncomfortable and shocked when Jonathon made the remark.

He explained: ‘I don’t want someone who has got horse legs.

‘I never personally want a girl that’s huge like body builder legs and a body builder body and someone that’s really built up.’

An embarrassed Sophie tried to stop him as he began his sentence but he retorted that she was being patronizing to him.

The tattoo-covered barber, 32, revealed his reasoning for the swift exit during the show, as he shockingly recalled his wife touching herself intimately at the table while they ate.

And fans were gobsmacked at the revelation, branding mum-of-two Gemma, 30, ‘vulgar’ as they described her husband as ‘petrified of her’.

The pair were late arrivals to the show, joining two weeks into the experiment – which pairs two singletons together based on their compatibility – judged by a team of dating experts.

The couple meet for the first time at the alter in the show, and forge a relationship AFTER getting married, going through an eight-week experiment which sees them go on a honeymoon, live together and join each other’s lives.

Seemingly a perfect match, Matt and Gemma hit it off straight away on their wedding day – with hairdresser Gemma making no secret of her attraction to her new husband.

But thinks quickly turned awkward as he felt pressured by the sexual nature of her humour and forward advances, admitting it was ‘pushing me away’.

And during the pair’s honeymoon to Lisbon, Portugal, tensions reached an all-time high as Matt stormed away from a romantic dinner date.

Reflecting on the time away during their first ‘commitment ceremony’, Matt revealed the real reason for his fury.

Matt explained to the dating experts and fellow contestants that their relationship ‘quickly had a bit of a breakdown’ during the honeymoon.

And as his wife chimed in to say her piece, the barber then interrupted to say he couldn’t ‘finish the sentence’.

Gemma replied: ‘That’s not true, I have to stick up for myself, Matt, because I don’t stick up for myself enough. There’s all these things that have happened that I haven’t even spoken to you about because I don’t feel that I can because you storm off. I am trying to understand.. I am trying to think what I do to trigger you to storm off.’

But looking to get his side across, Matt replied: “Okay, can you please explain to these why I walked off on the first day?’

‘I walked out because you started masturbating in a restaurant over a piece of food that you put in your mouth. I left the restaurant,’ he explained as a stammering Gemma appeared clearly embarrassed.

What! The tattoo-covered barber, 32, revealed his reasoning for the swift exit during the show, as he shockingly recalled his wife touching herself intimately at the table while they ate

Attempting to explain the situation, Gemma described it as ‘just my sense of humour’, leaving her fellow castmates lost for words.

And fans took to Twitter to share their distaste for the incident too, as one wrote: ‘How can you masturbate in a restaurant !! She’s unbelievable’

‘Sorry how have the experts let the restaurant scenario slide? Imagine if Matt was masturbating in a restaurant he wouldn’t be let back on the show,’ wrote another.

While another fan echoed: ‘Gemma needs to dial it back a bit, she’s coming across like a sexual predator.’

Despite coming as late arrivals, it’s not the first time Matt and Gemma have hit headlines, with a cheating scandal already unearthed.

MailOnline exclusively revealed earlier this week that the inked hunk will spend the night with co-star Whitney Hughes, who is married to Duka Cavolli, during next weeks’s episodes.

The group will go on a couples’ retreat getaway, with Whitney and Matt taking some alone time – despite their respective partners being under the same roof.

A TV insider told MailOnline: ‘Whitney and Matt truly shocked the other members of the cast by cheating on their partners – not only because of the hurt it caused but the circumstances too.

‘The pairs had gone away to a couples retreat and were there to focus on their relationships, but Whitney and Matt had other ideas.

‘Gemma, who thought she had met the love of her life in Matt, was devastated, while Duka had put his all into giving his marriage with Whitney a chance.’

MailOnline has contacted E4 for comment.

Married At First Sight continues on Monday at 9pm on E4.
