Malin Andersson breaks silence in first post since tragically burying baby Consy

Malin Anderson has returned to social media for the first time since tragically burying her daughter Consy on February 6.

26-year-old Malin had welcomed her daughter seven weeks premature, but Consy sadly passed away in January at just four weeks old.

Malin has posted very little in the weeks that followed, but on Tuesday took to Instagram to share a photograph with her 428,000 followers.

In the stunning selfie, the former Love Island star can be seen gazing at the camera with a sparkly filter completing her look.

Malin’s last post to social media was at the start of the month where she heartbreakingly revealed she was preparing to lay her daughter to rest.

She shared on Twitter : "So tomorrow’s the day I bury my daughter and lay her to rest free from pain. I love you unconditionally baby girl. None of this makes sense. CONSY-GLORIA."

Baby Consy had been fighting for her life in intensive care at London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital ever since she arrived seven weeks early on December 23.

Malin and her boyfriend Tom Kemp named Consy after Malin’s late mother, who died in 2017 after battling breast cancer for a third time.

They kept a round-the-clock vigil and begged fans to pray for Consy’s recovery. But sadly, she slipped away at just four weeks old.

Sharing a picture of her daughter hooked up to breathing tube, Malin said Consy had gone to be with her grandmother.

She said: "Completely in love with you.. and my Mum just wanted you to be with her. Your time wasn’t ready yet. Mummy loves you. I stayed with you each day.. you opened your eyes one last time for me and I saw those beautiful big brown eyes. I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anymore. Go be with grandma Consy.

"My angel. Rest in peace CONSY GLORIA EMMA ANDERSSON-KEMP 23/12/18-22/01/19."
