Love Island’s Faye has admitted she was in the wrong with regards to her vicious verbal attack on co-star Teddy.

A clip from Sunday night’s episode of Aftersun showed her feeling regret over the way she handled their argument, which played out on Friday night’s show and is still causing ructions in the villa.

Speaking to Millie by the pool, Faye revealed she is thinking about apologising to Teddy for the way she handled the argument.

Feeling guilty? Love Island ‘s Faye has admitted she was in the wrong with regards to her vicious verbal attack on co-star Teddy

Faye said: ‘I feel bad, I feel like s**t that I blew up the way I did. I am sorry for what I [did]. There’s no excuse for it, the way I flew off the handle. I just want to move forward.

‘If anything, it’s made me realise what I want.’

Referencing the shock dumping that neither her or Teddy were involved with on Sunday night, Faye went on to add that had Teddy been dumped, she’d have left the villa with him.

‘It makes you realise that if he was stood there and went home I’d be like “well, that’s ok, because I’m off too!”‘ she said.

Didn’t deserve it: A clip from Sunday night’s episode of Aftersun showed her feeling regret over the way she handled their argument, which played out on Friday night’s show and is still causing ructions in the villa

Remorse: Speaking to Millie by the pool, Faye revealed she is thinking about apologising to Teddy for the way she handled the argument

Millie replied: ‘All you can say to Teddy is a genuine apology but he also needs to apolgise too.’

Faye’s rant – branded ‘horrendous’, ‘abusive’, and ‘gaslighting’ by fans of the show – resulted in the most expletive-ridden episode ever.

It reportedly saw contestants swear 125 times as Faye and Teddy came to blows.

In the now infamous exchange argument between the couple following the Movie Night challenge, Faye is said to have said ‘f**k’ 57 times.

It comes as a member of Teddy’s family has voiced their frustration at Faye’s behaviour in the villa and criticised her ‘bad attitude’.

Millie replied: ‘All you can say to Teddy is a genuine apology but he also needs to apolgise too’

According to The Sun, Faye swore a total of 75 times and also said ‘f**k’ an average of more than once a minute.

After hidden clips were aired to the villa that revealed the ‘sexual attraction’ comments Teddy, 26, made to former islander Clarisse Juliette, Faye, 26, sat down with Teddy for one final showdown in which she told him: ‘It’s so done it’s unreal.’

Teddy swore a total of 14 times during the episode, followed by Chloe Burrows with 10 swears and Jake Cornish on seven.

Meanwhile, Teddy’s cousin Tania Monteiro, 36, who lives in Portugal, has hit out at Faye following their argument and has reportedly called for her removal from the villa.

Heated: Love Island’s most expletive-ridden episode ever reportedly saw contestants swear 125 times as Faye screamed at Teddy

Argument: In the now infamous argument between the couple following the Movie Night challenge, Faye is said to have said ‘f**k’ 57 times

Speaking to The Sunday People, she said: ‘I don’t have words for what she has done.

‘Yesterday I said, you are not a girl I was thinking would be good for my cousin because he needs a girl with a little bit of attitude, but not a bad attitude, a passive woman, not an aggressive woman.’

During Friday’s episode, a heated Faye ended her romance with Teddy after the ‘sexual attraction’ comments he made to former islander Clarisse were shown on screen during the Movie Challenge.

‘Regardless of what was shown or said, I know my worth and this is done,’ she told the senior financial consultant, adding: ‘I’m glad that screen came out tonight, it tells me a lot about you.’

Speaking out: It comes as a member of Teddy’s family has voiced their frustration at Faye’s behaviour in the villa and criticised her ‘bad attitude’

Trying to reason with Faye, Teddy said: ‘If you don’t want to believe that I give a s**t about you… I’m less p**sed off about what you saw, and I’m more p**sed off about the way that you’ve reacted.’

But Faye still refused to budge, and walked away from the conversation, adding: ‘I’m done with this conversation. If you wanna speak about my reaction based on your actions, you can f**k off. My reaction was only based on your f**king actions, so f**k off.’

Their sit-down chat came at the end of the episode, after Teddy had tried numerous times to talk to Faye, who first signalled to Teddy that she was upset straight after the challenge when she flipped him the bird.

‘Do you know how childish that is?’ Teddy told Faye, to which she fired back: ‘Do I look like I give a f**k?’

Language: According to The Sun , Faye swore a total of 75 times and also said ‘f**k’ an average of more than once a minute

Teddy then tried to approach Faye while she was standing in the kitchen with other islanders, asking her: ‘Why am I getting a middle finger?’

‘Why are you talking to me?’ retorted Faye, adding: ‘I don’t want to speak to you because I’m being an adult and I don’t want to have a conversation right now.’

Approaching Faye for a second time minutes later, Teddy asked: ‘Are you done shouting?’ but Faye made it apparent she was still not ready to hear him out, saying: ‘If I was you I’d just keep walking Teddy, I have f**k all to say to you.’

The heated exchange led to some viewers complaining to Ofcom over Faye’s ‘gaslighting’ behaviour.

Faye told Teddy: ‘Regardless of what was shown or said, I know my worth and this is done’

Love Island bosses have since responded to the slew of viewer complaints for allowing Faye’s ‘verbal abuse’.

A series spokesperson said in a statement to the Mirror: ‘Welfare and duty of care towards our contributors is always our primary concern, and we take the emotional well-being of all the Islanders extremely seriously.

‘We have dedicated welfare producers and psychological support on hand at all times who monitor and regularly speak to all of the Islanders in private and off camera, especially if someone appears to be upset.

‘All the Islanders are therefore fully supported by the professionals on-site and by their friends in the villa.’

Drama: Faye also vented her frustration at fellow islanders Matthew Macnabb and Dale Mehmet during the drama-filled episode

What is it like dating as a footballer? Does it make things easier or does it stand in the way? A lot of people have an assumption of me as being a typical player, but I got all of that out of my system when I was younger and now I’m a lot more laid-back when it comes to dating. A lot of people would assume that I go on lots of dates but I’m actually quite picky when it comes to who I date. Sometimes it can be hard to know if someone is genuine or not. I also love his blonde hair, that does it for me!
