This comes after former contestant Francesca Allen revealed that she didn’t ‘trust producers’ on the ITV show.

The reality star, 25, – who took part in the 2019 series – said ‘you don’t really know who to trust’ when you join the cast even though producers told her they were trustworthy.

Brunette beauty Francesca added that you get ‘thrown in the deep end’ when first entering the villa and that ‘it’s trying on your mind’.

When asked if she would do the show again she told The Mirror: ‘Erm… Do you know what, I do think when you first go in there you get thrown into the deep end, it’s a whole other world and it’s trying on your mind.

‘It’s very peculiar, you’re in another little world, you have your phone taken off you, you have no friends and no family there.

‘You don’t really know who to trust, the producers are telling you to trust them and you’re like, ‘Hmmm, no, I shouldn’t trust you.’

She added that it was a ‘play on your mental state’ but eventually said she would do the show again as it made her ‘grow up a lot’.

Francesca joined the 2019 series of the show late on and enjoyed a brief romance with Curtis Pritchard before being booted off.

In the interview with the publication she also discussed how she dealt with online trolls after leaving the show and how she was accused of editing her pictures after losing two stone.

She added that since her rise to fame she has become more ‘thick-skinned’ and accepts she is ‘not everyone’s cup of tea’.

It comes after last month Francesca revealed a dental clinic approached her to close her tooth gap for free when she left the Love Island villa in 2019.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, the star recalled being shocked at the offer as she declared: ‘There’s nothing wrong with my teeth, thank you very much!’

The clothing store owner – who recently took part in a virtual life drawing event with start-up skincare brand Faceittea – also touched on her recent two-stone weight loss, the prospect of dating and the importance of being candid about her acne.

TV star Francesca reflected on the pressure of being in the public eye, but insisted she’s not a fan of fillers and plastic surgery as she believes ‘natural is best’.

On being encouraged to go under cosmetic procedures since her rise to fame, the influencer admitted: ‘When I first came out, I had so many companies asking if I wanted surgery for free.

‘I remember one company said they’d love to fix my teeth, and I thought: ”There’s nothing wrong with my teeth, thank you very much!”

‘They’d make you think you’re broken but it’s just how I am and the way I look! My mum has been a very good person to instill that [confidence] in me so hopefully I can make other people feel like that too.’

Earlier this year, the media personality was accused of editing her pictures by social media users, with the brunette revealing the change in her appearance was down to shedding weight.

The former shop manager explained how while she tends to fluctuate often, her weight ‘doesn’t faze her’.

Francesca shared: ‘I’ve actually put on a couple pounds again… my weight is always very up and down.

‘Sometimes I might do hardcore training but then the next day I might be having cake all day so I’m back in the biscuit tin again.

‘No one focuses on it as much as you do. I’ve never let anything like that stop me from doing what I want to do, so I try not to think about it too much. You just need to stop looking at yourself so much, that’s what I think!

‘I haven’t watched back my own episodes [on Love Island] – I’m too scared! I’m too nervous to watch it. My friends and family said I was myself. I thought it would be like walking in a bar, but it wasn’t like that! I did make friends though.

‘I’m fairly lucky that I don’t get much hate compared to the girls I know, I’m harder than a lot of my friends. I ignore things, there’s nothing I or my family and friends haven’t said to me.’

During her stint on the ITV2 dating series, the Essex native failed to find love after coupling up with Curtis Pritchard and Michael Griffiths.
