Adam Collard is already making his mark on the Love Island villa, a new teaser clip has revealed.

It was announced at the end of Sunday night’s episode that the 2018 contestant is returning to the show, and a new clip shown on Aftersun reveals the villa veteran isn’t afraid of going after what he wants.

The clip shows the hunky personal trainer, 26, flirting with an impressed Paige Thorne before sharing cosy chats with Danica Taylor and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Cracking on: Adam Collard makes his mark on the Love Island villa on day one by flirting with three of the girls, a new teaser clip has revealed

Paige, who is in the middle of a rocky patch in her relationship with Jacques O’Neill, is seen gushing over Adam’s physique, telling him he’s the tallest guy in the villa, before declaring in the Beach Hut: ‘He’s so fit. No I’m not going to lie, he is very fit.’

By the pool, Adam tells her he is boyfriend material, explaining: ‘When I’m with someone, I’m 100% with them, I’ve never cheated on any ex-girlfriends or anything like that.’

Elsewhere, Adam gets to know Danica, who’s match Josh cooled off their romance on Sunday.

She tells him: ‘You do fit somebody that is my type, somebody that I just look at and just think… you’re sexy.’

Set his sights: Adam pulls Ekin-Su, who is coupled up with Davide, for a chat on the terrace, and tells her: ‘I’m not going to lie I find you super attractive’

‘Bloody Adam Collard… what the f***!’ she later excitedly gushes in the Beach Hut.

And Adam isn’t finished there as he pulls Ekin-Su, who is coupled up with Davide, for a chat on the terrace, and tells her: ‘I’m not going to lie I find you super attractive and that’s why I came in and wanted to speak to you straight away.’

Ekin-Su points out: ‘But you picked Paige.’

Adam though seems to have his sights set, telling her: ‘But I’ve got to speak to everyone haven’t I? Are you getting jealous already?

‘I’ll step on toes if I want what I want.’

Fans were left reeling at the end of Sunday night’s episode as it was revealed Adam was returning to the villa.

The personal trainer appeared on series four back in 2018 and infamously caused havoc in the villa where he was labelled by some as a ‘gaslighter’.

Adam’s return marks the first time in Love Island history that a contestant from a past series has been brought back for another.

Adam said of his comeback: ‘I’m going to ruffle a few feathers when I go in.’

Adam was a controversial figure during his stint in the villa, with some of his scenes even sparking concerns with bosses at domestic abuse charity Women’s Aid.

Adam locked horns with his then partner Rosie Williams in an explosive confrontation, during which he was widely-criticised by viewers for smirking throughout the argument and later leaving her in hysterical tears.

Voicing concern over Adam’s actions, which saw him move on to Zara McDermott, Katie Ghose, Chief Executive of Women’s Aid, said: ‘On the latest series of Love Island, there are clear warning signs in Adam’s behaviour.’

Adam was a late arrival into the villa and was initally paired with Kendall Rae-Knight before Rosie was his next partnership.

Adam was a late arrival into the villa and was initally paired with Kendall Rae-Knight before Rosie was his next partnership.

She then geared herself up to confront Adam, after which he smirked his way through her tearful monologue – leading to fans branding the personal trainer ‘a narcissist and sociopath’ for his cold response.

In light of the shocking scenes, Women’s Aid urged viewers watching Adam’s behaviour to recognise the warning signs and patterns.

Releasing a statement in response to the show, bosses said: ‘On the latest series of Love Island, there are clear warning signs in Adam’s behaviour.

Past: Adam was a controversial figure during his stint in the villa, with some of his scenes even sparking concerns with bosses at domestic abuse charity Women’s Aid

‘In a relationship, a partner questioning your memory of events, trivialising your thoughts or feelings, and turning things around to blame you can be part of pattern of gaslighting and emotional abuse.

‘Last night, Rosie called out Adam’s unacceptable behaviour on the show. We ask viewers to join her in recognising unhealthy behaviour in relationships and speaking out against all forms of domestic abuse – emotional as well as physical.

‘It is only when we make a stand together against abuse in relationships that we will see attitudes change and an end to domestic abuse.’

When he left the villa, Adam continued to date Zara McDermott, with the pair moving in together in Essex.

But the relationship wasn’t to last, with former government advisor Zara, 23, confirming their split after eight months together.

Zara is now in a relationship with former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson.
