While the world is mostly unsurprised about an alleged breakup between Love & Hip Hop stars Apryl Jones and Lil Fizz, the latter’s ex, Moniece Slaughter, is saying not so fast. Slaughter is claiming that the couple is still together.
Did Lil Fizz and Apryl Jones really call it quits
Earlier this month, it was rumored that the whirlwind romance between Lil Fizz and his B2K bandmate’s ex-girlfriend, Apryl Jones, had come to an end. Rumors first started when Jones deleted all of the photos with Lil Fizz on her Instagram.
Jones seemingly confirmed the split when she did an interview with Claudia Jordan on Fox Soul. She said, “Dreux is a great man and his focus is on Kam and my focus is on my children, and we are where we are. And I kinda want to leave it there.”
However, Love & Hip Hop‘s Moniece Slaughter, who is Lil Fizz’s ex and the mother of his son, insinuates that Jones is lying.
“They’re still very much together. Still living together, and she has not lost custody,” Slaughter said. “The pictures she’s been posting of her and her daughter with the stripper pole in the background are in Dreux’s house. The video of her sleep on the floor Christmas Day and toasting with her friends was at Dreux’s house as well. Her kids were with their dad this holiday, just like our son was with me. Because they took the kids out of state to her mom’s house for Christmas last year.”
The real reason why Lil Fizz and Apryl Jones appear to be broken up
Slaughter claims that the reason why Lil Fizz and Jones are appearing to not be together right now is because of public perception. She alludes to the fact that they were tired of the backlash that they have been receiving on social media. Slaughter also confirmed that there is still a court battle ongoing between Omarion and Jones.
“She’s in and out of court with Omari,” she said. “And one of his stipulations is that Dreux can’t be around his kids. They unfollowed each other to get the public off their asses. But they still going strong. Kam Facetimed him for bed two Mondays ago, and she was in the background. He made sure to put her in the frame.”
Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood is on its normal break before it returns later this year.
Slaughter has said she would not be in the upcoming season as her contract is up.
