‘F*** off Covid!’: Kerry Katona sparks concern as she confesses that she is ‘getting worse not better’ more than a week after getting positive test result

Kerry Katona has sparked concern after revealing she is feeling ‘worse not better’ a week after getting Covid. 

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the singer, 41, shared that she managed to push through Christmas ‘for the kids’ but that her illness has gotten any better. 

Kerry revealed she had tested positive on Wednesday, which came just days after she her £110,000 Range Rover full of her family’s Christmas presents was stolen.

She told Covid to ‘F*** off’ as she shared a snap of her in her dressing gown in Monday’s post. 

Kerry wrote in a post: ‘Not good!!! I’m in a bad way. I pushed through Christmas for the kids but my god this isn’t good.’ 

‘I just want to be well now. Physically and emotionally exhausted. Merry f***ing Christmas.’

She the wrote in another post: ‘Started feeling poorly on the Sunday! LAST WEEK!!!! How much longer???? It’s been over a week!!’ 

After learning she had Covid, Kerry wrote on Instagram: ‘So my PCR came back inconclusive so I did another lateral flow test.   

‘Both me and Max have tested positive! Heidi and DJ negative! Also my mum has just tested positive too! Really not sure how to deal with this!

‘DJ is crying cos she can’t come near me.’

In a video shared on her Stories, Kerry said she was glad she took notice of her ‘gut instinct’ and pulled out of her pantomime performance as Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty at Oldham’s Queen Elizabeth Hall.

She added: ‘I’m so glad I didn’t go because I would have gave everybody else there Covid and ruined their Christmas as well.’

On her family’s Christmas plans, she continued: ‘I’m not sure how this is all going to work with us in the house. I feel like s**t. 

As she declared ‘this is not how I wanted to spend Christmas, the same as thousands of others’, she jumped out of her seat as daughter DJ approached.

The reality star exclaimed: ‘DJ you cannot come any closer to me… you can’t darling, let me move out of the way,’ before she turned back to camera and said: ‘this is going to be really hard’.

Kerry had a troubled Christmas last year after her whole family was struck down with coronavirus.

The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! also spoke of her heartache this week after daughter Molly tested positive for Covid, meaning she cannot travel to England from Ireland for Christmas, where she was staying with her father Brian McFadden.

Kerry also shares daughter Lilly-Sue, 18, with Brian, while she is mother to Heidi, 14, and Maxwell, 13, who are from her marriage to Mark Croft.

Her youngest is Dylan-Jorge, or DJ, who she shares with late husband George Kay.

Her post comes after her car was stolen while out shopping, with the Christmas presents she’d bought for her family going missing with the vehicle.

The star tearfully took to her Instagram stories shortly after the incident to slam the ‘absolute b******s’ who stole her car and appealed to fans to call the police if they spot it.

Kerry also shared a further video on her grid, where she detailed chasing the thieves down the street after realising her Range Rover had been taken.

Filming herself in a JD Sports store at the Elk Mill Shopping Park, Kerry fought back tears as she told how her keys had been lifted from her pocket as she popped inside to do further shopping with her daughters Heidi and DJ.

She sobbed: ‘My car has been stolen I’m in Oldham, I’m with Heidi and my daughter DJ. It’s a private reg with Katona.

‘If anyone sees it please phone the police, it’s got all Christmas presents in the back. It’s got a Louis Vuitton bag in the back, it’s got iPads in the back. So, if anybody finds it, please, please, ring the police.’
