Pregnant Kelly Osbourne is seen having lunch with friends in Beverly Hills… after being diagnosed with gestational diabetes

Kelly Osbourne was spotted having lunch with friends in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

The pregnant 37-year-old reality star was photographed with her vibrant lavender hair pulled back as she lunched from behind a pair of black cat-eye glasses.

Wearing a denim jacket and a casual black shirt, the mother-to-be enjoyed a quiet afternoon out with close friends after revealing her gestational diabetes diagnosis.

Keeping it healthy and casual: Kelly Osbourne, 37, was spotted having lunch with friends in Beverly Hills on Thursday. The pregnant star opted for a casual look, wearing a denim jacket, black shirt and black cat-eye glasses. After being diagnosed with gestational diabetes, Kelly has declared that she will ‘never eat the same again’

The mother-to-be was recently diagnosed with the condition – which develops during pregnancy and usually disappears after giving birth – and Kelly admits that overcoming this latest health obstacle has caused her to re-evaluate her diet.

Kelly told Entertainment Tonight that she will ‘never eat the same again’ and went on to describe her ‘terrible’ symptoms: ‘I had terrible, terrible, terrible heartburn, acid reflux, my feet were swelling, and I was having rapid weight gain.’

Kelly – who revealed this week that she is having a baby boy – went to her doctor and made the discovery after multiple rounds of testing. In the wake of her diagnosis, Kelly originally blamed herself. ‘What what did I do wrong?’ she asked. ‘What am I eating that’s so bad?’

After learning more about the disease, Kelly was able to free herself from the guilt of her diagnosis. ‘It was not anything I did,’ she realized. ‘You either get it, or you don’t, and I think it’s more to do with me being 37 than any amount of sugar that I was eating.’

The star immediately became a health advocate for combatting the disease, sharing her experience with the public and raising awareness by partnering with the No Sugar Company for the celebration of No Sugar Day earlier this week on October 3.

‘I am taking the pledge to join the fight against overconsumption of refined sugar,’ she wrote on Instagram, ‘which harms our health in so many ways.’ The Very Very Best of the 80s host has lost 10 pounds after cutting out sugar and limiting carbohydrates. Kelly has begun her new healthy lifestyle in the midst of her rockstar father’s own serious health struggle as Ozzy Osbourne battles Parkinson’s disease.

The 73-year-old Black Sabbath legend was diagnosed with the disease in 2003 and first shared details of his ongoing health battle back in 2020. But his beloved daughter’s pregnancy is a bright spot as the father of six can’t wait to welcome another grandchild.

‘[Dad]’s told everyone before I got the chance to,’ Kelly told Entertainment Tonight. ‘But I will say, every single day he does this little song and his little dance about how excited he is.’

This will be the first child for Kelly and her partner Sid Wilson, 45. The daughter of rock and roll royalty met the turntable DJ for Slipknot at Ozzfest, her parent’s music festival. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Kelly’s mother Sharon Osbourne, 69, recently opened up about finding the silver lining to her family’s multiple health struggles. ‘The family,’ she said. ‘We spend so much more time together.’
