Kate Beckinsale, 50, rolls back the years and looks younger than ever

How Kate Beckinsale has rolled back the years after turning 50 and has left fans amazed with her bleach blonde new look and glamorous makeover

Kate Beckinsale has been wowing fans with her very youthful appearances in recent months after getting a glamorous new makeover.

The actress marked a landmark birthday as she turned 50 in July, but she has been rolling back the clock with her very glamorous appearances in recent months.

Most recently, Kate made a younger than ever appearance at Kathy Hilton’s annual Christmas party as she posed for elegant snaps with Nicky and Paris Hilton.

She showed off her brand new bleach blonde curled hairstyle after she ditched her signature brunette up-do, looking strikingly different with her new look.

Kate put on a very glamorous display at the party as she strutted her stuff in a fitted pink metallic gown and completed her look with a high-glamour make-up palette.

The Pearl Harbor star was hit by claims that she had plastic surgery amid her glitzy makeover, but she strongly shut down the rumours earlier this year and insisted she can’t ‘risk’ getting Botox due to a medical condition.

As Kate continues to impress fans with her very youthful looks, MailOnline takes a look back at how she has rolled back the clock.

Turning 50 (2023)

Kate marked her milestone 50th birthday in July and has been wowing fans with her youthful complexion, looking as incredible as ever.

She often shows off her stunning looks and glamorous fashion sense in an array of Instagram posts, and has recently been impressing with a new bleach blonde look.

An array of cosmetics experts have given their insights into how Kate might maintain her incredible looks, after she hit back at surgery claims and spoke about her skincare treatments – including platelet-rich plasma facials.

Dr. Rayan Alalola, Aesthetic Doctor at Reflect Clinic, exclusively told MailOnline: There’s no denying that Kate Beckinsale looks amazing is absolutely glowing. Whilst Kate has denied rumours of cosmetic surgery, and claims she can’t have botox, there are other treatments she may have had.

‘It’s likely she follows a medical grade skincare routine and has regular aesthetic treatments to keep her skin glowing and youthful.

‘Kate has possibly had skin tightening treatments such as Morpheus8 which works on lifting and contouring the skin – this would help prevent sagging skin around the face, neck and jawline.

‘As well as that it’s likely Kate has regular laser treatments and /or skin peels to rejuvenate the skin and help rid of dark spots and pigmentation.

‘Kate may have also had injectable skin boosters or dermal filler to replace lost collagen and keep skin luminous and radiant.’

While Riccardo Frati, of Frati Cosmetic Surgery, said: ‘Kate Beckinsale previously stated that she’s had no threads, no thread lift, no Botox, no laser, no nose job, no filler.

‘The sensational looks she’s attained must certainly be due to regular, excellent skincare treatments, facials, prep to boost collagen, and radio frequency, to achieve skin tightening and collagen growth. Lifestyle will be a key factor in how she has achieved her appearance.

‘Kate has also stated that she applies SPF whenever she’s in the sun and has done since she was young. This will be a contributing factor in preserving her collagen integrity. Key treatment will be the use of advanced skin care products.’

In September, Kate hit back at claims she’s had a nose job after sharing a filtered bikini snap.

She wowed her fans with a series of sizzling bikini pictures that appeared to use an Instagram filter.

One follower wrote: ‘I’m just curious do you have nose job? if you mind me asking’, prompting Kate to respond: ‘nope but again thanks so much for asking.’

Forties (2013-2023)

Before going blonde in recent weeks, Kate was well-recognised for her long brunette locks, often styled in a voluminous up-do or ponytail.

Over the past ten years, she has continued to impress fans as she has rolled back the clock with her youthful looks and dewy complexion.

Kate often also shows off her incredible figure in her glamorous outfits, from elegant gowns to ab-flashing bralets and fashionable co-ord sets.

However, throughout her 40s, Kate was hit by surgery claims and was forced to deny that she had gone under the knife on numerous occasions.

Just months ahead of her 50th birthday, Kate insisted that she has never even tried Botox after a fan asked her if she had gotten a ‘facelift‘.

Responding to the fan’s remark, Kate responded: ‘No threads, no thread lift, no Botox, no laser, no nose job, no filler.’

Kate said she instead has skincare treatments including ‘facials with PRP [platelet-rich plasma] to boost collagen and microcurrent for skin tightening and oxygen’ and said although she would be open to trying laser, she is ‘a bit scared’ so hasn’t yet.

Further doubling down on her remarks when a fan asked her why ‘celebrities have to deny their face procedures’, Kate added: ‘I haven’t had a facelift or filler or Botox. I’m not lying and I don’t have to accept people accusing me of things I haven’t done.’

Kate said she can’t ‘risk’ getting Botox because she has mast cell activation syndrome, a condition that causes mast cells to release inappropriate amount of chemicals into your body, causing causes allergy symptoms.

It came just years after Kate was previously forced to deny having any cosmetic procedures done back in 2021.

She also credited her youthful appearance to her good genes in a wide-ranging interview with The Sunday Times.

‘I haven’t had any. I’m not against people having it. [But] I do get p**sed off. It’s sort of a given that I’ve had it, which I just literally haven’t,’ she said.

‘My family are generally on the younger-looking side. Even my dog is nine and looks like a puppy.’

She also admitted she gets frustrated with the resounding assumption that she has gone under the knife thanks to her ageless appearance and said she is fearful something would go wrong if she got any surgery.

She told the publication: ‘I haven’t had any [cosmetic work]! I’m not against people having it. [But] I do get p**sed off. It’s sort of a given that I’ve had it, which I just literally haven’t.

‘I’m frightened of paralysing my face. My mum’s voice is in my head, very loud, at all times. My mum wouldn’t even get a facial, she is suspicious of anything like that, and looks f**king radiant and amazing.

‘I know if I did do Botox, I’d be the one that would get the droopy eye, and my mum would go, ‘I f**king told you! See? You should never do that’.’

Kate’s mother is 76-year-old actress Judy Loe, the widow of Kate’s father, Rising Damp star Richard Beckinsale, who died in 1979 of a heart attack aged just 31.

Thirties (2002-2013)

During her 30s, Kate rocked her famous wavy brunette locks, a look she became synonymous with during the time.

Speaking about ageing, Kate insisted that she had no intention of going down the surgery route back in 2012 because she wanted to age naturally.

She told Glamour magazine: ‘I feel like beauty is a gift that you have for a while, and you enjoy the hell out of it while you have it.

And if you’re lucky enough to have a daughter and you give it to her, you enjoy the fact she has it. My mother was always very, very beautiful – she still is, in her sixties.

‘I’m sure she feels, ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if my neck did this?’ but not to the degree of cutting parts of herself odd and dragging them behind her ears. I feel very similar.

I much prefer how my mother looks to the people I see here [in Los Angeles] with wind-tunnel face.’

She told how it was only after meeting her husband Len Wiseman – who she split from in 2015 after of 11 years of marriage – that she ever felt ‘sexy’.

Kate also previously admitted that she never appreciated her striking beauty until she was in her late twenties.

She said: ‘Feeling attractive didn’t come until I was 29 and with Len…At the time it was partly perceived as if I’d gone all Hollywood, but it wasn’t like that at all.

‘It was just OK for me to walk around and feel feminine and attractive. I like feeling liberated like this.’

Rising to huge fame in 2001 after playing the lead in Pearl Harbor, Kate sported an array of different looks as she showed off her red carpet fashion for the first time.

She had earlier starred in dramas including 1994’s Prince of Jutland and Emma in 1996, before her huge success in the early 00s.

Kate became massively famous starring in a whole host of movies from 2001’s Serendipity, to 2003’s Underworld and 2006’s Click.

She also famously dated Michael Sheen after they met in 1995 on a touring production of The Seagull, and were in a relationship until 2002.

They went their separate ways after seven years together, after welcoming their daughter Lily, now 24, together in 1999.

Michael and Kate are still close friends, and she has said of him: ‘I really love him and like him and we make each other roar with laughter.’
