The Blades suffered a painful 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday with Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski scoring stoppage-time winners.

The result leaves the promoted club winless with just a single point on the board ahead of clashes against Newcastle, West Ham, Fulham, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Manager Heckingbottom has three wins and 11 defeats from his 15 games as a Premier League manager, and reports suggest a change could be in the offing.

The Daily Mail claim Sheffield United are considering a move to bring Chris Wilder back to Bramall Lane, and have already 'sounded out' the 55-year-old.

Sean Dyche is next in the market at 5/2.

Leandro Trossard's classy second-half strike unlocked resolute Everton at Goodison Park to give Arsenal a deserved 1-0 victory.

The result leaves winless Everton in the bottom three with one point from a possible 15, and 8/5 to be relegated.

Dyche, 52, had previously been available at 3/1 but has been cut to 5/2 to become the second Premier League manager to be relieved of their duties in the 2023-24 season.

The next three league fixtures could be pivotal for Dyche, who will need to reverse the club's fortunes in clashes against Brentford, Luton and Bournemouth.

Dyche's position is further complicated by Everton's proposed takeover by 777 Partners, who have an agreement in place with Farhad Moshiri for his 94.1% shareholding.

There's also pressure building on Manchester United's Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman, 53, entered the campaign at 33/1 after an excellent debut campaign, but he's already into 10/1 after a run of three defeats in four league matches.

The Red Devils were comfortably beaten 3-1 against Brighton at Old Trafford over the weekend, while Ten Hag was booed for his decision to replace new signing Rasmus Hojlund with Anthony Martial.

United are sat in 13th position after five outings, nine behind leaders Manchester City and seven off Tottenham and Liverpool.
