‘The happiest day of my life’: Jeremy Clarkson says daughter Emily’s wedding to former boyband star Alex Andrew was ‘sublime’ as he shares sweet video of their first dance
Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter Emily looked on cloud nine as she had her first dance with her new husband Alex Andrew at their weekend wedding.
The podcast host, 27, took to her Instagram account on Sunday to reveal the first look at her stunning countryside nuptials.
Jeremy, 62, proclaimed his daughter’s wedding ‘the happiest day of my life’ as he shared a clip of her on the dancefloor followed by a heartwarming snap of them together.

The TV presenter described Emily’s big day as ‘sublime’ alongside the photo of them – a black and white snap taken on the dancefloor.
He wrote: ‘Fathers. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful it is when your daughter gets married to someone you like.
‘I am being very unmanly about this weekend. It was just sublime. I have never been happier.’
The couple had their first dance to Elvis Presley’s The Wonder Of You while surrounded by their nearest and dearest.

Emily took to her Instagram Stories and shared a clip of herself alongside some of her friends, including former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James.
Emily and Alex – who previously performed in Irish band Taken – tied the knot two years after getting engaged.
The blogger and author looked beautiful in a vintage inspired high-necked wedding dress that featured intricate beading detail.

The lace back gown showed off a hint of skin as Emily wowed in the show-stopping ensemble.
She completed her classic look with a floor-length lace veil, with her blonde locks scraped back into an elegant pony tail.
Emily delighted her 251,000 followers as she shared a snap of the couple walking jubilantly out of church hand in hand after exchanging their vows.
Other images showed the pair sharing a passionate kiss in a field as they celebrated their dreamy wedding day.

Andrew was previously in the four-piece Irish boy band Taken, formed in Dublin back in 2012.
The group previously collaborated with The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaren and Danny O’Reilly of the rock band The Coronas.
They appear to have gone their separate ways in the mid-2010s before Alex moved into PR.
Emily announced her engagement to the Dublin-born publicist back in March 2020.
She declared Alex had made her ‘the happiest girl in the whole wide world,’ while her father also shared the photo, writing: ‘Very very happy father.’
She posted a photo of the couple standing in picturesque countryside, beaming as she proudly showed off her diamond ring while cuddled up to her smiling boyfriend.
