Jennifer Aniston would 'love a relationship' and craves 'support'

Jennifer Aniston says she would ‘love a relationship’ and craves ‘support’ after staying single since divorce… as she mentions recent visit from ex-husband Justin Theroux

Jennifer Aniston delved into the difficulties of living single following her 2017 divorce from Justin Theroux in a new interview.

The 53-year-old A-lister, who spoke to Allure for its December cover story, admitted that she wasn’t looking for a third marriage anytime soon, but she did miss the ‘support’ that she could count on when she was in a relationship.

The Friends icon, who was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 until their 2005 divorce, also raised eyebrows when she mentioned that her second husband Justin had recently dropped by the home they formerly shared for a visit.

When asked if she was interested in getting married again, Jennifer replied, ‘Never say never, but I don’t have any interest.’

However, she was definitely interested in something with a bit less commitment, as being single could sometimes be overwhelming.

‘I’d love a relationship. Who knows?’ she continued. ‘There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, “I need support.”‘

‘It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody’s arms and say, “That was a tough day,”‘ she added.

Thought Jennifer has a long line of famous suitors — which also includes guitarist John Mayer, Paul Rudd and Vince Vaughn — she has opted to stay single since her divorce from Theroux.

However, she signaled that a change might be on the horizon, as she was entering a new ‘period.’

‘I feel like I’m coming through a period that was challenging and coming back into the light,’ she explained, adding that she ‘had to do personal work that was long overdue, parts of me that hadn’t healed from the time I was a little kid.’

She continued, ‘I’ve realized you will always be working on stuff. I am a constant work in progress.

‘Thank God,’ Jennifer added. ‘How uninteresting would life be if we all achieved enlightenment and that was it?’

Friendly: Amid her work on herself, the Morning Show star has been able to remain good friends with both Pitt and Theroux; seen with Pitt in 2000 in LA

The Morning Show star clarified that she didn’t want to start a new relationship until she had had time to work on herself and address those early traumas.

‘It wouldn’t be fair,’ she explained. ‘I don’t want to move into a house when there are no walls.’

Although Aniston has made it clear in the past that she remains good friends with both of her exes, she included a surprising admission that Justin had recently dropped by her home.

While giving a tour of her property, she stopped by a cottage that she noted is ‘about 90 percent windows’ and served as Justin’s office while they were married.

‘Welcome to the Babe Cave,’ she joked, adding, ‘You can imagine he likes things black and dark.’

She shared that after the Leftovers star moved out following their split, she ‘lightened it up’ and ‘stripped it all.’

‘He came over [the other day] and was like, “What the f*** did you do?” I said, “I brought the light back in, buddy,”‘ she recalled.
