Jack Black grabs attention while rocking a cosmic cat T-shirt and wild shorts for afternoon stroll in LA

Jack Black rocked an eclectic look on his way to the SAG-AFTRA picket line in Los Feliz, California today.

The 53-year-old funnyman commanded attention with his space-themed cat T-shirt and contrasting colorful shorts.

A few passersby couldn’t help but do a double-take of the Super Mario Bros. Movie star’s look, which also included a green bowler and and large silver headphones.

Refusing to follow Coco Chanel’s rule of removing one accessory before heading out, the School Of Rock star also rocked a pair of clear sunglasses with black rims.

The Kung Fu Panda star sported a scruffy white beard and a backpack as his last few accessories, completing the ensemble with a pair of grey slides with colorful green socks.

It’s been a busy day for the Shallow Hal star, with the Peaches singer joining fellow actors and writers outside of the Netflix offices in Hollywood to show his support for the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

However, it wasn’t the first time the Shark Tale voice actor chose to join the picket line.

Jack shared a snap of himself picketing outside of Paramount Studios back in July for his 11.2 million Instagram followers.

The Nacho Libre star hasn’t posted on his Instagram – like many fellow SAG members — since he isn’t allowed to promote any projects on social media while the strike is still ongoing.

However, the A-lister has already cemented his status as one of the funniest actors in Hollywood — even his bombastic take on Bowser’s solo song in the Super Mario Bros. movie has already garnered Oscar buzz.

It’s been a comedy career 23 years in the making, with the Santa Monica born funnyman breaking through in the entertainment world with his role in the 2000 film Fidelity.

The multi-talented performer is also one half of the band Tenacious D, with his friend Kyle Gass.

The rocker duo formed the band in 1994, starring in their own Tenacious D miniseries on HBO from 1997 to 2000 – a feature film around the band, Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny, followed in 2006.

Stand out star: The King Kong star appeared positively unbothered as onlookers stopped to take a glimpse of his eclectic ensemble

Lover boy: One of the most critically-acclaimed aspects of The Super Mario Bros. film was Jack’s hilarious vocal performance as Bowser

Back in April the Weird: The Al Yankovic story star told Entertainment Tonight that a School Of Rock reunion was in the works for the film’s 20th anniversary this September.

‘We’re gonna get together and have a 20-year anniversary. We like to jam,’ the talented rocker revealed.

With his trademark sense of humor, Black added, ‘All those kids — dig this — they were 10 years old when we made that movie and now they’re all, like, 30.’

School of Rock was the movie that earned the comedian his first Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical.

However, he’d ultimately lose out that year to Bill Murray for Lost In Translation.
