Influencer Miss Mercedes Morr killed in suspected murder-suicide aged 33

Janae Gagnier – an influencer who boasted more than 2.6million followers on Instagram – has been killed in a ‘murder-suicide’ aged 33.

Gagnier, who went by the name Miss Mercedes Morr on social media and is followed by stars including Meek Mill, Cardi B and Snoop Dogg, was found Sunday afternoon in her home in Richmond, Texas.

The body of a man later identified as Kevin Alexander Accorto, of Florida, was also found in the home.

Local reports say both Gagnier and Accorto’s bodies were discovered after police were called to Gagnier’s home for a welfare check around 4pm.

According to KHOU reporter Grace White, Fort Bend County Medical Examiner has since ruled Gagnier’s death a homicide and said her cause of death was strangulation.

So far a potential motive has not been publicly confirmed, however it’s been reported the pair weren’t known to one another.

An earlier statement from Richmond Police Public Information Officer Lt. Lowell Neinast read: ‘At this point in the investigation, it is not believed that there was a relationship between the suspect and the victim.

‘The cause of death for both individuals is pending autopsy results from the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner. At this point, this is being considered a murder/suicide and it is an ongoing investigation to determine motive in the case.’

Police said there was no sign of forced entry at the apartment, and are continuing to investigate, while Gagnier’s sister London claimed the influencer was being stalked as she shot down claims she was robbed.

She wrote in a tribute to her sister: ‘Yesterday was the worst day of my life .. my heart is gone . My soul is gone […] Me & mom talked to you on Thursday to check on you & per usual, you were having an amazing time.

‘We talk every day. I’m so happy we said we loved you. I’m so happy I got to see your face one last time. Jenae I’m f**kin sorry […] [sic]’
