Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina were every inch the picture perfect couple as they took to the red carpet for the premiere of his film Three Thousand Years of Longing at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday.

The actor, 49, cut a dapper figure as he joined his glamorous spouse Sabrina, 32, who wowed in an eye-catching Tony Ward Couture lilac gown.

Meanwhile Tilda, 61, opted for a sophisticated black gown with a blue embellished neckline as she joined her co-star Idris for the premiere.

In total, some 35,000 film professionals are expected to attend the festival between May 17 and 28, hoping for a return to form for cinema’s most glamorous event after two years when it was hampered by Covid-19 restrictions.
