Discussing her YouTube series, Who’s in My Bathroom?, and skincare brand Rhode, she explained that she wanted the show to reach her fans through the video sharing site as opposed to a streamer or broadcast network so she could have ‘control.’

Appearing with the show’s co-creator Michael D. Ratner, she said: ‘I wanted to do it on YouTube because I wanted to be able to control the content.

‘I think sometimes what happens is when there’s too many people involved and you have a lot of voices telling you you should do this or we want you to do it this way, it starts to not feel like you own it, and I really wanted to own it.’

Hailey added that she retails her skincare line online only so that she can remain close to the business before expanding to physical stores.

Earlier this year, Hailey legally won the right to name her skincare company Rhode.

The influencer was victorious after being sued for trademark infringement by a clothing company also called Rhode, TMZ reported.

The founders of the eight-year-old enterprise, which was created in New York, but is based in Los Angeles, argued that having two companies by the same name would be confusing for the public.

A RHODE spokesperson told DailyMail.com: ‘Our lawsuit continues. [The] court ruling is simply a decision by the judge not to prohibit Hailey Bieber’s skin care line from using our brand name while litigation proceeds, deferring the ruling until we have the opportunity to gather more evidence.

‘It is exceedingly rare for a judge to issue the preliminary order we sought, and so we expected this outcome. We remain confident that we will win at trial. “Rhode” is our name and brand, we built it, and federal and state laws protect it. We ask Hailey to achieve her goals without using the brand name we have spent the last nine years building.’

Celebrities such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Tracee Ellis Ross, Khloé Kardashian, Busy Philipps, Jamie Chung, Whitney Port, Zoey Deutch and many others have worn their designs. The company recently launched a collection of home goods on their site, shoprhode.com.
