‘Family Matters’ star accused of dislocating 2-year-old daughter’s arm

Darius McCrary‘s ex-wife claims that the former “Family Matters” star dislocated their 2-year-old daughter’s arm in an incident that left the child crying and resulted in a medical procedure.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Tammy Brawner alleges 42-year-old McCrary, who played Eddie Winslow on the hit series, hasn’t been following court orders regarding custody of their daughter, Zoey. Brawner claims McCrary went on the radio and stated that she had “been telling and coaching our 2-year old daughter to lie and say that ‘Dada hurt her.’”

Brawner also alleges that McCrary grabbed Zoey’s arm to pull her into the bathroom, only to end up dislocating the child’s arm. McCrary, however, denies this allegation, claiming in the documents that he “grabbed one hand to lift her up and immediately grabbed the other.”

Brawner attached a copy of the medical report that claims Zoey “cried when attempting to move the arm.” She ultimately was diagnosed with nursemaid’s elbow, which is a common elbow injury in young children that occurs when a child’s elbow is pulled and a bone partially dislocates.

Doctors performed a procedure that she handled well.

“I cannot co-parent by myself,” Brawner writes. “I have gone above and beyond to parent with Mr. McCrary but he appears to be too bitter and too much of a tyrant to parent with me.”

Brawner filed for divorce in March 2017.

McCrary’s rep didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
