Kanye West seemed to be in a jubilant mood as his flight landed in Los Angeles on Thursday.

He didn’t seem too fazed by the widespread controversy that he created days earlier when he sported a ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt at his YZY fashion show in Paris, which was widely condemned by fans and fashion industry luminaries and led Adidas to put its relationship with him ‘under review.’

The 45-year-old rap superstar could be seen grinning ear to ear while looking at his phone, as he headed to a meeting with Fox News host Tucker Carlson at his office, according to TMZ.

Back home again: The rapper was arriving back home after a flight from Paris, where he stirred up controversy by debuting a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt at his YZY show for Paris Fashion Week

Kanye initially looked more stone faced as he deplaned in one of his now-standard all-black casual outfits.

He looked comfortable in a nondescript black hoodie, though he kept the hood down in favor of a black baseball cap reading 2023 on the bill, presumably in honor of Yeezy’s Spring 2023 show.

He matched his black jeans to his shirt and wore tall black rain boots, also a staple of his recent style.

Although the Monster rapper has often favored well-maintained facial hair, he now sported a thick beard.

He completed the low-key look with a bulky black backpack with thick straps that he wore slung over one shoulder.

Joining West on the tarmac was a man in a camouflage shirt with matching cargo pants, along with black combat boots.

He wore a black baseball cap and had some of Kanye’s silver reflective wraparound sunglasses perched on his head.

As they stood around the luggage, Kanye stopped so show his pal something on his phone that seemed to be delighting him, which also elicited a smile from the other man.

According to TMZ, the rapper — who has changed his legal name to Ye — didn’t waste much time before heading to his meeting with Tucker Carlson.

The controversial rapper and the right-wing pundit reportedly had a ‘lengthy chat’ that was centered around his recently debuted ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt and the uproar it set off.

West complained about the perception that people think he is a ‘bully,’ and he also disputed his belief that people think he is ‘bullying black women,’ as he feels that he is the one being bullied by Hollywood.

The fashion designer was widely criticized, particularly by models and fashion insiders, after he publicly attacked Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson — who is Black — for criticizing his ‘White Lives Matter’ shirts.

His critiques of the fashion journalist included making fun of her own fashion choices on Instagram, which many fans found mean-spirited and tasteless.

The two later had a two-hour conversation, though it’s unclear if they reached any kind of agreement.

Kanye’s interview with Tucker is expected to air Thursday night.

West hit out at Adidas on Thursday morning, after the company announced that it has put ‘under review’ its business partnership with him.

The rapper did not take too kindly to Adidas’ statement, as he hopped on Instagram with a screenshot of the announcement, writing: ‘F*** ADIDAS I AM ADIDAS ADIDAS RAPED AND STOLE MY DESIGNS.’

The German sporting goods maker released a statement this morning revealing they are reviewing their business dealings with the outspoken musician following his very public criticism of the company and their CEO.

‘After repeated efforts to privately resolve the situation, we have taken the decision to place the partnership under review. We will continue to co-manage the current product during this period,’ the company said.

CNBC, which first reported the news, said West had been publicly critical of Adidas and its CEO and told the broadcaster that the German group was copying his ideas. Adidas has been partnering with West since 2013.

‘Adidas has always been about creativity, innovation and supporting athletes and artists to achieve their vision. The adidas Yeezy partnership is one of the most successful collaborations in our industry’s history,’ Adidas said.

‘We also recognize that all successful partnerships are rooted in mutual respect and shared values.’

Still digging: He doubled down on his ‘White Lives Matter’ slogan on Wednesday and explained that when people ask why he made the shirt he replies that it’s because ‘They do’

More business troubles: News about Adidas putting the partnership under review comes less than a month after West’s lawyers sent a letter to Gap Inc notifying the apparel chain he was terminating his partnership with the company

It has been an eventful week for Ye, who shocked his fans on Monday when he wore a ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt design at his surprise Yeezy fashion show in Paris.

He doubled down on his ‘White Lives Matter’ slogan on Wednesday and explained that when people ask why he made the shirt he replies that it’s because ‘They do.’

News about Adidas putting the partnership under review comes less than a month after West’s lawyers sent a letter to Gap Inc notifying the apparel chain he was terminating his partnership with the company.

Adidas’ statement comes amid an ongoing public clash with Kanye who’s been continually going after the sportswear giant on his social media, as he says the company has pilfered his ideas and kept him out of the loop in terms of marketing the product.

In recent months, West has ranted about the company, posted pictures of its board members, and called out CEO Kasper Rorsted, even creating fake image of a New York Times front page that claimed Rorsted had died.

West has garnered support from a number of his contemporaries in the hip-hop community, such as Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Swizz Beatz and T.I. who wowed to boycott the brand.

Earlier this month, Ye was on a social media blitz against the two clothing companies, accusing Adidas of seizing creative control over the Yeezy brand and stealing his design ideas to produce shoes similar to his Boost trainers. He also claimed that the shoe company ripped off his design for slides.

Ye shocked fans on Monday, when he debuted the ‘White Lives Matter’ design at his Paris fashion show, and he even had fashion models in the show wearing the clothing with the message written across it, a response to the Black Lives Matter movement that was founded in 2013 following the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman.

The front of West’s ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt appeared to show a collage of photos of Pope Saint John Paul II, with the bottom caption referring to him in Spanish as ‘Juan Pablo II.’

Also posing with West was right-wing commentator Candace Owens, who wore a complementary version of the shirt, and Kanye’s daughter North West, nine.

Among those who modeled West’s new design in Paris was Bob Marley’s granddaughter, Selah Marley. Selah is the daughter of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley.

It is not the first time that Ye has stoked controversy surrounding race, after saying in 2018 that he thought 400 years of slavery ‘was a choice.’

Kanye has aligned himself with right-wing figures such as Owens, as well as former President Donald Trump, regularly sporting a Make America Great Again baseball hat in public.

During a May 2018 interview regarding his support of Trump, West said: ‘Racism isn’t the deal-breaker for me. If that was the case, I wouldn’t live in America.’

While Kanye continues his feuding with Adidas, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian appeared to be throwing her support being the sportswear brand by wearing an oversize gray-and-white Adidas jersey, along with West’s Yeezy slides, which are also made by the company.

She looked relaxed as she stayed above the fray while supporting her son Saint, six. The former couple also share daughters North, nine; Chicago, four; and son Psalm, three.

After West again referenced his claims that Kim and her family kept him from seeing his daughter Chicago at her fourth birthday party during one of his recent rants, Kim’s sister Khloé Kardashian came to her defense in an Instagram comment.

She begged him to ‘STOP tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect,’ and insisted that he ‘Leave her and the family out of it so that the kids can be raised peacefully.’

But the Power rapper was undeterred, and he continued by calling the Kardashians ‘LIARS’ and accusing them of having ‘BASICALLY KIDNAPPED CHICAGO ON HER BIRTHDAY SO SHE COULD REMEMBER HER FATHER NOT BEING THERE.’
