Dua Lipa, 25, took the 2021 Grammy Awards by storm as she debuted tracks from her acclaimed second album Future Nostalgia, which won her the award for Best Pop Vocal Album. During her speech, she claimed it “changed her life” after going through a “jaded patch” following the end of her last album.

It has changed my life in so many ways but one thing I have really come to realise is how much happiness is so important

Speaking of her big win, she said: “Future Nostalgia means the absolute world to me.

“It has changed my life in so many ways but one thing I have really come to realise is how much happiness is so important.

“I felt really jaded at the end of my last album where I felt like I only had to make sad music to feel like it mattered.”

She added: “I am just so grateful and so honoured because happiness is something we all deserve and something we all need in our lives.”

The British singer beat the likes of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift to the prize.

Despite her win, she is also up for another five awards at the ceremony, including Album Of The Year and Record Of The Year.

Dua left viewers of the 63rd annual awards ceremony in awe as she took to the state during her performance wearing a bright pink disco glittery outfit.

She began her performance with a rendition of Levitating, and was joined by DaBaby.

Later, the pop star delivered a version of Don’t Start Now, which she performed surrounded by masked dancers.

Fans soon started flooding social media to applaud her “exquisite” routine.

“Bullying Dua Lipa into becoming a performer was an excellent idea,” one fan joked.

Another said: “Tbh the aesthetics of Dua Lipas performance alone made it one of the best performances so far.”(sic)

Pink seemed to be a theme for the singer tonight as she made her red carpet debut in a semi-naked gown custom-made Versace gown, that was bejewelled with pink, blue, and white gems.

The sheer dress flattered her slim figure as it sported a high slit on the left leg, complete with mesh diamonds and a butterfly motif bodice.

Her make-up was kept simple with frosted purple eyeshadow, and super-long hair extensions, leaving some fas comparing her to ionic singer Cher’s 1974 Grammy Awards look.
