Diane Keaton confused Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s son Deacon for a young Leonardo DiCaprio in a new Instagram post celebrating ‘male beauty.’
Proud momma Reese was quick to jump in the comments to let her fellow Oscar winner know that the shot she thought was Leo was really her 18-year-old son.
Once it was pointed out, the photo, which was an image of the teen from a recent Interview Magazine article, did bear an uncanny resemblance to a teenaged DiCaprio.

‘Talk about beauty, Leonardo DiCaprio,’ Diane narrated in a video over a photo that was actually of Deacon Phillippe. ‘Give me a break. I knew him when he was a kid.’
Keaton, 75, posted a slideshow on Instagram Sunday showing images of famous men including Robert Pattinson, Clint Eastwood and Deacon Phillippe.
Deacon’s black and white photo was the first in the bunch and the Annie Hall actress mistook him in her voiceover for a young Leo DiCaprio.
In her post, Diane also quipped about the stunning good looks of several others like who she dubbed ‘so beautiful.’
‘Talk about beauty, Leonardo DiCaprio,’ she narrated over the photo of Phillippe. ‘Give me a break. I knew him when he was a kid.’

Twins? Once it was pointed out, the photo, which was an image of the teen from a recent Interview Magazine article, did bear an uncanny resemblance to a teenaged DiCaprio (seen in 1991)
The portrait, shot by Noua Unu Studio, was an extreme closeup of the celebrity progeny’s face which did bear quite a similar resemblance to DiCaprio back when he was first starting out in Hollywood.
Young Leo, who is now 46, and Deacon each share all-American boyish good looks, a sultry stare and floppy 90s hair which is en vogue once more.
In the comments, Reese Witherspoon quickly corrected Keaton’s mistake: ‘Diane, the first one is my son!’ Keaton quipped back with three wide-eyed emojis.
Deacon is the son of Reese and her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. The former husband and wife also share Reese’s look-a-like daughter, Ava, together.

Reese and Ryan, who co-starred together in Cruel Intentions, were married from 1999-2006.
She later wed talent agent Jim Toth in 2011 and welcomed their son, Tennessee James Toth, the following year.
Reese has been busy filming her upcoming Netflix rom-com with Ashton Kutcher, Your Place Or Mine.

The 45-year-old actress and producer as Debbie in the flick, while Ashton plays her best friend Peter.

The romantic comedy also features appearances from Jesse Williams, Tig Notaro, The White Lotus’ Steve Zahn and Zoe Chao.
Jason Bateman’s production company Aggregate Films is producing the movie, along with Reese’s company Hello Sunshine.
