Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have a painting party while quarantining

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have a painting party while quarantining together… after their daughter Scout explained the unusual arrangement

They’ve been quarantining together with their adult children despite ending their marriage 20 years ago.

Demi Moore, 57, and Bruce Willis, 65, showed they’ve been keeping busy amid their coronavirus lockdown by honing their artistic abilities.

The Ghost actress posted photos of the whole group having a painting party on Tuesday at the Idaho farmhouse they once shared.

Artists: Demi Moore, 57, revealed she and her ex-husband Bruce Willis, 65, had a painting party with the whole family in photos posted Tuesday to Instagram as they quarantine together

Demi’s pictures included a group photo featuring the whole family, plus various guests, as they worked on a painting prompt.

She took the head of the table while wearing a plastic apron over a black sweater and matching overalls.

Bruce sat at the opposite end and skipped the apron but wore the same green and white striped pajama top that he wore earlier this month for a family photo.

Living it up: Demi beamed in a solo shot as she worked on the prompt, a cartoonish giraffe. She’s been living with her ex despite having divorced 20 years ago

Demi also beamed in another photo as she worked on her painting from a cartoon giraffe model.

She also shared a short video of everyone’s final painting, most of which put humorous spins on the giraffe design, though one person turned the animal’s head into a surreal two-headed nude woman.

Though Demi and Bruce seemed to be having a great time together with the family, his current wife Emma and their two daughters remain in Los Angeles, to the confusion of fans. Recently, Bruce and Demi’s adult daughter Scout attempted to explain the unusual quarantine arrangements.

‘My stepmom was going to come up here too with my little sisters,’ Scout, 28, explained during an episode of the Dopey self-help podcast.

Unusual arrangement: Scout Willis is seen with her dad Bruce and mom Demi in a quarantine picture posted by daughter Tallulah; Scout has now explained that her dad had initially planned for his current wife and their daughters to join the group in Idaho

Back at home: Bruce’s current wife, model Emma, remains in Los Angeles with daughters Mabel and Evelyn after one of them stood on a needle and needed tests

‘[But] my younger sister… [who has] never gotten a talk about not f***ing with hypodermic needles…. she found [needles at a park and] she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot.

‘So my stepmom had to be in LA waiting to, like, get the results for taking her to the doctor. My dad came up here early and then travel got crazy and my stepmom stayed in LA with my little sisters.’

Bruce shares daughters Mabel, eight, and Evelyn,  five, with Emma, 41, whom he married in 2009. The Die Hard star and Demi divorced 20 years ago but remain friends — Bruce and Emma attended her book launch last year, while she attended their vow renewal.

Scout,  28, explained there were benefits to the strange set-up, saying it was ‘so cool’ to get to be with her parents and sisters in one home, two decades after her mom and dad divorced.

‘It’s been really funny having both my parents at the this house where they, like, raised us,’ Scout explained as first reported in Us Weekly. ‘It’s kind of divine time to just hang out with them. … I’m very grateful to be with my family.’

Blended family: Bruce Willis and Emma Heming married in 2009 and share two daughters; Mabel

Like their parents, all three Willis girls are sober, which Scout said made for a pleasant experience.

‘We all know how to communicate so well now because of that,’ she said. ‘I’m in a good place to deal with any emotional intensity that comes up with people.’

Like Scout, her sisters are also enjoying the family time.

On Monday, Tallulah Willis – whose hair Bruce recently shaved off – posted a picture of the pair together with the tongue-in-cheek caption: ‘Father and son.’

Tallulah, 26, paid tribute to her father wearing a vintage promotional T-shirt for his classic action series Die Hard with the slogan ‘Die Harder’ emblazoned across it.

Rumer, the oldest daughter, 31, joined the family last week for the first time since quarantine began.

First family: Bruce is seen to  on Demi’s Instagram account a week ago; they are pictured in the Idaho home he once shared with Demi and their daughters

Staying out of it: Days after Bruce Willis and his ex-wife Demi Moore revealed they were quarantining together, his wife Emma Heming confirmed she was not staying with the pair

Demi has also not been shy about the reunion, and revealed a picture of them all together last week enjoying a book club together.

All the group had their noses down reading a book, with Demi captioning: ‘Family book club… ⁣How to Rule the World from Your Couch — quarantine edition.’

The group all held a copy of Laura Day’s self-help book, which uses step by step exercises to achieve goals such as career moves and building new or better relationships.

Meanwhile, over on Emma’s Instagram account, she has been sharing scenes from the Los Angeles home she usually shares with Bruce and their school age daughters.

The former model has confirmed she is not with her husband of 11 years and his ex last week, instead commenting on photos of them together.

Not with dad: Bruce’s two youngest girls are in Los Angeles with their mother, Emma, who has shared images of them to social media

She wrote, ‘Love and miss you guys,’ on a snap of the famous exes in matching pajamas.

While it is unclear why the family is not all isolating together, Heming hasn’t stopped gushing over her stepdaughters’ latest pictures on Instagram.

‘Not many can pull that color off! Looking good squad,’ she commented on one of Tallulah’s posts.
