  •  ‘I’ve been here 50, 5-0, years — and loved every single moment,’ Linda said while seated in front of a roaring fireplace

For sale: The 81-year-old star is even lending her talents to helping get the three-acre property sold, which comes full of luxury amenities like stables, a tennis court and swimming pool, by starring in a new listing video where she gushes over the space

‘I’ve been here 50, 5-0, years — and loved every single moment,’ Linda said at the start of the video looking far younger than her 80-some years.

She is seated during the more than four minute long promotional clip on a large hearth with a roaring fire behind her with her chestnut hair a shiny lob.

Linda explained that, at the time she and Ed first saw the property, the Canyon Country area of Santa Clarita was a place very off the beaten path, despite its proximity to Los Angeles. The home is just 35 minutes (barring insane LA traffic) outside of Beverly Hills.

The couple joined friends who were visiting from Tennessee to scope out ‘horse properties’. She recalled: ‘We came out here to an area nobody even knew about, heard about, whatever.’

‘We were across the street looking at their possible home, and somebody drove down and said, ‘Why don’t you look at [the other] property? It’s for sale,’ she explained.

The other property turned out to be Oak Tree Ranch which she and Ed modernized over the years. Thrasher, who was a Hollywood art-director who famously worked on album covers for chart-topping artists, died in 1983.

Linda has kept the 4800-square foot estate in pristine condition with state of the art appliances, new fixtures and an inviting warm, neutral color palette.

The Zillow listing describes the sprawling 2.7-acre lot as having ‘extraordinary park-like grounds’ studded with enormous trees that are hundreds of years old.

It’s got it all: Oak Tree Ranch is ‘equestrian-zoned’ and has stables for four horses. There is also a tack room and a barn

As the Dallas star explained in the video, she and Ed had stumbled on the property while with friends interested in a place to house horses. Likewise, Oak Tree Ranch is ‘equestrian-zoned’ and has stables for four horses. There is also a tack room and a barn.

It is not only convenient to Los Angeles but also near by the beaches of Montecito and Santa Barbara, picturesque Ojai and the vineyards of Santa Ynez.

The buildings on the property were designed by famed architect A. Quincy Jones (not the record producer) who, Linda revealed, had worked on music studios in Burbank around the time she and Ed purchased the lot.

Heart of the home: The main house is three bedrooms with a chef’s kitchen designed by Josh Schweitzer that includes a pizza oven

Ed, who was the art director at the studio at that time, tapped the modernist for work at Oak Tree Ranch.

The main house is three bedrooms with a chef’s kitchen designed by Josh Schweitzer that includes a pizza oven. There is also a two-story, two bedroom guest house that is fully equipped with kitchen and living space.

While the home itself is stunning, the grounds are perhaps more spectacular with a large pool and spa, a rolling lawn, gardens, chicken coop and ever a koi pond.

The estate is listed by The Agency, which is owned by celebrity real estate broker Mauricio Umansky, husband of Real Housewife Kyle Richards.

Amenties! A huge bathroom features a large jacuzzi tub and it’s very own fireplace

Linda keeps a low profile these days in California. The veteran actress, director and former model is popular for her portrayal of Sue Ellen Ewing, the wife of Larry Hagman’s on screen persona J.R. on the classic TV series Dallas.

Linda played the part from 1978 until 1991, then went on to appear in a string of successful movies and reprise her role in a couple of Dallas reunions.

Also an accomplished theatre actress, she starred as Mrs. Robinson in a production of The Graduate in 2001. The brunette beauty also worked with Sylvester Stallone on Oscar in 1991 and on Models Inc from 1994 until 1995.

She went back to Dallas in 1996 and 1998 for spinoffs and also appeared on the reboot from 2012 until 2014.
