Coleen Rooney is weighed down with luggage as she prepares to leave Barbados with her four children and a mountain of suitcases

Coleen Rooney had her numerous bags packed and ready for transit on Sunday as she prepared to leave Barbados with her four children.

The wife of former Manchester United and England footballer Wayne Rooney appeared to have her hands full after arriving at the picturesque island’s Grantley Adams International Airport for the flight home.

Making her way towards check-in, Coleen, 34, generated attention thanks to her enormous display of suitcases and bags – the result of her protracted summer break in the Caribbean.

Here she comes: Coleen Rooney had her numerous bags packed and ready for transit on Sunday as she prepared to leave Barbados with her four children

In accordance with current health guidelines the brunette wore a face covering as she pushed a smart Louis Vuitton case across the terminal while an assortment of family members and baggage handlers appeared to labour with the remaining luggage.

Opting to travel in style, Coleen wore cropped denim shorts that exposed her evenly tanned legs, while a casual blue top and white sliders rounded things off.

With minimal accessories on show, she hooked a large Saint Lauren travel bag over one arm while clutching her passport and boarding pass.

Sons Klay, seven, Kit, four and Cass, two, were also present as the family prepared to swap the sweltering West Indies for their luxurious Cheshire mansion.

The country is not currently listed as a country that requires visitors quarantine when they return to the UK, due to its relatively low number of COVID-19 cases.

Their latest sunshine break was no doubt needed for Coleen, who is currently engaged in an epic WAG war with Rebekah Vardy after she accused her of leaking stories to the press last year, a claim she vehemently denies.
