Blue Lagoon star Christopher Atkins, 60, jokes he is looking for a ‘very sexual’ girlfriend who can withstand his ‘spontaneous craziness’… but SHE must be ‘no drama, I’m too old for that’
Christopher Atkins joked he is looking for a ‘very sexual’ girlfriend capable of withstanding his ‘spontaneous craziness.’
The 60-year-old silver fox, whose most famous role was opposite Brooke Shields in the 1980 film The Blue Lagoon, teased: ‘Sorry, I’m highly sexual.’
However Christopher told Page Six that ‘as time goes by, of course, it’s going to die down to maybe once’ daily.

‘I want a woman, obviously no drama, I’m too old for that,’ the Kids Vs Monsters stars explained in his new interview.
‘A woman who loves to laugh, can be spontaneous…has to be open and what I mean by open is I believe that a good relationship is how healthy your intimacy is and what I mean by intimacy is not sex, but the ability to express oneself on an intimate basis without judgment and ridicule,’ he added.
Christopher, who took it all off for Playgirl two years after The Blue Lagoon came out, shared that he believes in going steady.
He said that he has only had two relationships since his marriage of 22 years to the mother of his children broke up in 2007.

Of those two post-divorce romances the shorter one was four years long and the other one went on for seven years.
Christopher was only 18 years old when he made his movie debut in The Blue Lagoon and appeared in his own nude scenes.
The film starred him and Brooke Shields as cousins who have grown up together on a remote island after being marooned there in a shipwreck.
Brooke was only 14 when she shot the movie so the stunt coordinator Kathy Trout, who was 32 at the time, stepped in for her character’s nude scenes.

The Blue Lagoon was torn apart by the critics to the tune of an 8% rating on Rotten Tomatoes but was a massive box office smash.
He told Page six that after The Blue Lagoon, the Playgirl shoot and his gig playing a lifeguard on Dallas ‘my biggest fan base’ was gay men.
When gay flirts tried to make him ‘switch teams,’ he dished: ‘I would say: “I don’t know the first thing about doing it,” and that just set them up. “Well, I’ll show you!”‘
However not everyone was quite as enthused as while he was on Dallas ‘I got a call from my manager and he says: “I just got a call from the network and they’re asking you to quit stuffing your Speedos.” That’s a true story.’

Christopher, who hails from Rye, New York in Westchester County, said: ‘I didn’t even know what stuffing was at that time. I was a little conservative Rye boy.’
He married Australian actress Lynn Weber in 1985 and before they divorced they welcomed their children Brittany and Grant.
Now he has become ‘the best’ grandfather who dotes on his grandchildren and takes them out to go ‘snake hunting, we go camping, fishing, play ball, wrestle all the time, we have a blast. They’re so much fun.’
Christopher’s upcoming movie releases include a western called Trail Blazers directed by Antonio Sabato Jr. and a crime thriller called Out For Vengeance.
