While speaking of settling down, Evans raved ‘that’s absolutely something I want.’

‘Wife, kids, building a family. When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared,’ he continued.

‘We all have patterns, hang-ups or baggage that repeat and echo, so I’ve really been able to kind of identify where I need improvement and what works,’ he said. ‘I also really see the value and strength behind saying, I’m sorry.’

Evans concluded: ‘If you’re able in those vulnerable moments to stay calm and listen, and say you’re sorry even if you don’t think you’ve done anything wrong because it’s not from your perspective it’s from the other person’s I think that opens up a door in a very healthy way.’

Delayed: Evans was rumored to be in the running to take the title last year, but plans were reportedly thwarted after he caused a frenzy by accidentally sharing an explicit shot of his penis to social media

Evans was rumored to be in the running to take the title last year, but plans were reportedly thwarted after he caused a frenzy by accidentally sharing an explicit shot of his penis to social media.

Specifically, the Captain America star had uploaded a short video to his Instagram Stories in September 2020 of himself and some friends playing Heads Up.

But at the end of the video, a shot of Chris’ phone camera roll came up, which featured a close-up black-and-white photo of a penis. The entire clip was deleted shortly after.

Brushing it off: During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show , Chris called the entire situation ’embarrassing’ but that there were ‘lessons learned, lots of teachable moments’ (seen in 2018)

‘Chris was in discussions to take the [Sexiest Man Alive] cover last year, but it was not great timing,’ a source told Page Six, adding that ‘bosses thought it was better to wait’ until the online hoopla died down.

Another source refuted the above statements by insisting that the explicit photo ‘had nothing to do with Evans not being named the 2020 Sexiest Man Alive.’

Evans’ accidental snap would eventually go viral, becoming the subject of hundreds of thousands of tweets.

‘You know, things happen, it’s embarrassing, you gotta roll with the punches. I will say I have some pretty fantastic fans who really came to my support and that was really, really nice.’
