Anti-vaxxer pundit Beverley Turner RETURNS to This Morning amid claims she was ‘banned’ after row with Dermot O’Leary over Covid vaccine

Beverley Turner returned to This Morning on Wednesday, 10 days after it was reported she was banned from appearing on the show.
The presenter, 47, had come under fire earlier this month when she had a furious on-screen with Dermot O’Leary, after she said young people should reject having the coronavirus vaccine.
But Beverley was back on TV screens on Wednesday and even discussed the pandemic during a talk about the latest headlines with radio host Nick Ferrari.

During the talk, Beverley said she doesn’t agree with proposals that jabs should be mandatory for care home workers.
The presenter told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: ‘We know that care homes, it’s an industry that appeals to younger workers, they aren’t often graduates.
‘They might be seen as some of the quieter voices in society who may not feel they can stand up for their rights.

‘We still have a human right in this country which is for personal autonomy and informed bodily consent, so it’s a very sad day for those young people who might just want to wait a little while, who just might want to say ‘Without any long-term data for these vaccinations, can I please just wait?
‘Because I’m 21, and long-term data at 21 is very important. It’s more important than if you are 81, perhaps.
‘I think this will have huge reverberations for the care home industry and for young people in general.’

Earlier this month, MailOnline revealed Beverley had been blocked from appearing on This Morning following an on-screen row over the coronavirus vaccine.
It was understood that staff on the show have been told not to book Beverley as a news reviewer amid fears her Covid-19 views are too controversial.
A source told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Production staff were told Bev is banned from the show after the comments she made… they couldn’t have her on again.’
Beverley, married to ex-rower James Cracknell for 20 years before they split in 2018, had been appearing almost weekly on This Morning.
ITV declined to comment at the time.
A discussion about the jab’s effectiveness became a heated row after Beverley said young people should reject having the vaccine.
Host Dermot was furious after she said of the vaccine: ‘It does not stop you catching or passing on the virus.’
The presenter replied: ‘It does. The finest minds of science have, in an extraordinarily short amount of time, come up with this vaccine.

‘It’s proven it’s working statistically. Why are you so cynical?’
After Beverley claimed there was ‘no long-term data’ to support the jabs, Dermot said: ‘We don’t have a chance to have long-term data because we have this virus that’s killing people around the whole world. We don’t have that luxury, surely. Why are you so sceptical about the whole thing?’
She responded: ‘Because of the fact there’s a 99.8 per cent survival rate from Covid-19. The average age of death is 82.’
Sources close to Beverley who hosts weekly podcast “As good as it gets?” with old friend Marina Fogle, said shortly after the row she has not had any contact with This Morning since the argument.
She said at the time: ‘I love taking part in the current affairs debates on This Morning and applaud the country’s longest running daytime show for discussing the day’s biggest stories.
‘This Morning has been very supportive over the last few years and I look forward to continuing our positive relationship.’
