Bella and Gigi Hadid look VERY different in RHWBH episodes filmed when they were teenagers – as seasons three and four starring the model sisters debut on Netflix
They’re now two of the most recognisable models in the world.
And before they shot to international fame for their fashion prowess, Gigi and Bella Hadid starred in hit show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In the reality series, which has recently seen series three and four debut on Netflix, the sisters- and especially Bella- look very different to how they appear in their glam Instagram shots shared as 26 and 24 year old supermodels.

In episodes filmed when the siblings were 17 and 15 years old, they are seen looking much more fresh-faced as they chat with their parents and lark around.
During the tenth episode of season three, which originally aired back in 2012, the sisters are seen looking around their dad Mohamed’s house with mom Yolanda after she decorated the place.
Mohamed praises his former spouse for her skills, saying he ‘loves it’ and it’s ‘not bad for an ex-wife’.
Bella is seen sporting similar dark locks however her face looks much fuller as she laughs with her sister and rocks peach trousers along with a baseball T-shirt.

The shots were filmed at the start of the girls’ modelling careers, with the topic of their new jobs often being discussed by ‘momager’ Yolanda.
And although only being 17 at the Gigi also looks different in the scenes, sporting the same long flowing blonde locks but opting for more casual ensembles.
Dressed in skinny jeans and a loose white vest, the now mother-of-one Gigi looks worlds away from her high-fashion looks of 2021.
Bella and Gigi appeared on the show with their mom for seasons three until six, with viewers seeing them go on modelling shoots and leave school.

Bravo previously shared a mashup of the sisters’ scenes on the series, including cringeworthy footage of their mom, Yolanda, schilling out dieting advice and discouraging Gigi from playing volleyball because it will make her ‘bulky.’
‘Volleyball is a very masculine sport. Modelling a very feminine thing,’ Yolanda tells the then-17-year-old while preparing dinner for her family in the season three episode that aired in 2012.
Yolonda, who was a famous model before she became a mom, is brutally honest with her daughters about what it takes to succeed in the cutthroat industry.
In her testimonial, the mother-of-three, explains that her eldest daughter wants to be a model, but she is suddenly missing the time she spent playing volleyball.
‘She’s gotta start building her career and that means sometimes we have to give up the things that we love to do,’ Yolanda tells the camera.

‘These girls they train four hours a day after school so their bodies are big and bulky. I mean, they eat like men. I wanted her to develop as a woman.’
Gigi, who is now 26 and a mom to baby girl Khai, recalls how she used to wear basketball clothes to school every day when she was in the third grade.
‘I thought that my daughter was a . . . lesbian,’ Yolanda admits.
While in another scene, Yolanda and Gigi are on set at one of her photo shoots. The teen is getting ready to celebrate her birthday, and all she is looking forward to is breaking her diet.
‘I am so excited for the food,’ she tells her mom. ‘Pretty much all of the food that we are eating is a like heart attack in a meal, but it’s going to be so good.’

Yolanda doesn’t say anything about her daughter letting loose on her birthday, but she does warn her that she needs to stay thin in order to book work as a model.
‘You can have one night of being bad, right,’ she tells Gigi. ‘Then you gotta get back on your diet because, you know, in Paris and Milan they like the girls just a tad on the skinny side.’
Yolanda is still talking about Gigi’s diet in the next clip from season four, but this time she is praising her for her hard work.
‘You are doing such a good job, Gigi,’ she tells her while on a shoot. ‘Aren’t you proud? It’s hard to exercise six days a week. It’s hard to not eat any sugar, and it’s hard to have to eat a salad every day, but now you see how it pays off.’
Although Gigi admits that she sometimes hates working out, she agrees that it is all worth it because she is so happy to be a rising model.

The majority of the footage focuses on Gigi and her budding modeling career, though a teenage Bella is present in some of the clips.
And another clip shows Gigi making a tearful speech at her graduation party, but the conversation once again returns to her diet after her mom surprises her with a cake featuring one of her modeling photos.
Although Yolanda got her a cake in honor of her big move, it doesn’t look like she wants her daughter to eat it.
‘This is the hardest for being on our diet,’ she tells her daughter as she slices into her graduation cake.
‘I have to have a bite for good luck though,’ Gigi says, but Yolanda doesn’t seem convinced by her logic.
‘Um,’ she says, and things only get more awkward when Gigi forces her mom to have a slice of cake as well.
Yolanda takes a minuscule bite before deciding she is done with it.

‘Gigi’s in charge of her own diet, but to be on your best weight you gotta make the right choices,’ the momager explains in her confessional.
The following scene shows Yolanda moving Gigi into her first apartment in New York City. While Gigi was set on studying criminal psychology at The New School in the fall of 2013, her mom wasn’t exactly on board.
‘I always felt she should take a year off and just work and make as much money as she can, and she didn’t want to,’ Yolanda tells the camera.
The mom also explains that Gigi was supposed to have a roommate, but that fell through because the other girl’s parents wanted her to live in a dorm with other freshmen.
‘I didn’t want Gigi to live in a dorm because I wanted her to be in more of a work environment,’ Yolanda says. ‘Kids party and go out and get drunk and I wanted her to really focus on her career where she has to get up at five in the morning and go to work and shoot all day. You know, that was important to me.’
Yolanda ended up getting her wish when Gigi suspended her studies to focus on her modeling career.
Bella, on the other hand, wanted to focus on modeling from the get-go, but their mom was only willing to let her quit school if she was pulling in six figures.
