It’s not looking good for Asia Argento.
A day after the Italian actress denied having “any sexual relationship” with Jimmy Bennett when he was 17 years old, TMZ obtained text messages in which Argento allegedly flat out told a friend she did, in fact, have sex with him.
On top of that, a photo has surfaced allegedly taken right after they did the deed in a Marina del Rey hotel room back in 2013.
In the pic, Argento and Bennett are lying on a bed together shirtless, with their heads on a pillow and their arms entangled. A source tells TMZ the pic was taken after the two had intercourse.
As we reported, Argento quietly reached a financial settlement with the now-22-year-old in April, months after he threatened legal action. Her boyfriend Anthony Bourdain supposedly paid the actor $380,000.
As for the text exchanges allegedly between her and one of her friends, the actress discusses the backlash from the New York Times story about her and Bennett that ran Sunday, along with sharing a picture of a love note she claims he wrote.
Though Argento flat out states she had sex with Bennet, she claims she didn’t know he was a minor (the age of consent in California is 18) and that she was “jumped” by “the horny kid.”
She also says if her career suffers because of all this, she will “move to Africa or the Amazon forest.”
