Late last year, Amber Heard wrote an op-ed piece for The Washington Post where she urged the government to “reauthorize” the Violence Against Women Act, and talked about a time in 2016 when she came out as a victim of domestic abuse and was punished for it by losing jobs and getting death threats while abusers are protected. Amber never named Johnny Depp in her piece, but her op-ed still made the carbon monoxide detectors, glass, mirror, and nostrils around him break and explode as a hot, stanky cloud of rage wafted off of him. Johnny was so mad about Amber’s op-ed that he filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against her in Virginia, claiming that even though she didn’t name names, her article made it clear that she was the victim of abuse by the hand of Johnny Depp. Johnny claimed in his lawsuit that he wasn’t the abuser in their marriage, she was, and her allegations were a publicity “hoax” to further her career. Amber has responded to his lawsuit with a horrific stream of alleged incidents where Johnny “The Monster” abused her.
During their divorce fight in 2016, Amber said in a deposition that Johnny is like a mogwai, but instead of turning into a slobbery, rage-filled gremlin from getting wet (like that bitch bathes!), he turns into a monster after swallowing booze, drugs, and/or prescription meds. Johnny has claimed before that Amber got violent with him during their marriage, and in his defamation lawsuit he stated other times she allegedly abused him. That made his fans declare that he’s 100% EXONERATED!!! But Page Six reports that Amber has her own alleged receipts including a text she says Johnny sent her in 2014 after he kicked her, threw things at her, and yelled at her on a private plane. Amber claims Johnny was wasted at the time, and later texted that he was sorry for being a “fucking savage.”
Depp allegedly apologized in a later text message, writing, “Once again, I find myself in a place of shame and regret. Of course, I am sorry. I really don’t know why or what happened. But I will never do it again.”
His message continued, “My illness somehow crept up and grabbed me … I must get better . . . Again, I am so sorry, so sorry. … I love you and I feel so bad for letting you down.”
Amber also says that a year after they first got together in 2012, she watched him abuse drugs and booze, and it turned him into a violent train wreck. Like many drunken abusers, Amber says that when he sobered up, he would apologize to her, and she stayed with him because she says she believed his promises to never do it again.
Amber gets into several times Johnny allegedly abused her, including one time when he went on a three-day ecstasy/booze binge in Australia and choked her, shoved her, threw things at her, and spit at her. Amber claims that her three days of terror ended with him doing a little redecorating:
“On the third day of Johnny staying awake without sleeping, I came downstairs to find numerous messages Johnny had written to me around the house, on the walls and on my clothes, written in a combination of oil paint and the blood from his broken and severed finger. Johnny also urinated all over the house.” Heard states that the actor was finally hospitalized, and Heard states she was left with “a busted lip, a swollen nose, and cuts all over my body . . . to this day, I still have scars on my arms and feet from this incident.”
Another time in 2015, Amber says he threatened to kill her and punched her and head-butted her. And yet another time in 2016, Amber says neighbors heard Johnny attacking her and ran into the apartment to stop him. If Amber wants to submit more evidence, she should just direct the court to read that messy Rolling Stone article.
Amber says in her response that contrary to what Johnny claims, she’s never abused him. She says that the only time she did punch Johnny was during a fight at their apartment in 2015 when her sister Whitney got in the middle of them. Amber says that Whitney was at the top of a flight of stairs and she was afraid Johnny would push her sister so she punched him in defense.
You can read the rest of Amber’s response at Page Six. Johnny’s lawyers have already responded to Amber’s claims, saying once again that she’s lying and they have witnesses, video, and audio that proves she was the abusive one.
Now about that ecstasy binge story…
Everyone that I know who has done ecstasy just wants to hug, pet my monster fur jacket for six hours straight (it was the 90s and I was at a rave, how dare you judge my fashion choices), and gaze at a glow stick being twirled around by another raver. The most disturbing thing I’ve ever witnessed from someone on E was the time my friend was at a rave and said he loved the song playing and the song playing was a techno remix of Closing Time from Semisonic. I should’ve made him go to rehab right then and there. But leave it to Johnny Depp to turn into an alleged violent non-house trained toddler from HELL on ecstasy. And Johnny really needs to love the blood art to the real blood artistes like Pete Doherty.
