Adele is 'warned her LA pad is a high risk threat from earthquakes'

Adele is ‘warned her $60million Beverly Hills pad is a high risk threat from earthquakes’- with her estate situated in a ‘potentially hazardous area’

Adele’s palatial $60million Beverly Hills mansion is at high risk in the case of an earthquake, a new report has claimed.

In January, the award-winning songstress, 33, snapped up the plush pad from actor Sylvester Stallone, 75, with the property boasting 21,000 square feet of living space, eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.

But survey findings from authorities in Los Angeles have allegedly shown that the property – situated in the stellar Beverly Park guard-gated community – is within an ‘active fault near-source zone.’

Oh dear: Adele’s palatial $60million Beverly Hills mansion (pictured) is at high risk in the case of an earthquake, a new report has claimed

According to The Sun, The California Geological Survey concluded in 2014 that the home, located on a hillside, is within the said active fault, which has the capabilities of generating a magnitude 7 quake.

The ‘seismic hazards’ survey section noted that buildings and homes could face a landslide if disaster struck, with particular concerns raised over the left-hand side of the site, which features scenic views of the city.

It has been said that a special seismic shut off valve for gas was installed to prevent potential explosions.

That may not be the last of the A-lister’s worries, as she has been alerted that her 3.47 acre estate is in a ‘very high fire hazard severity zone.’

California’s weather conditions from spring through to autumn comprise dry, windy, and often hot, which can produce moderate to severe wildfires.

The bout of threats could see the multi-millionaire raking up significant fees in specialist home and earthquake insurances.

Special features include 3.47 acres of land, two-bedroom guest house, theatre, library, putting course, gym, sauna, steam, infinity pool, cigar room, custom bar and art studio.

Other famous faces residing in the community include Denzel Washington, Magic Johnson and Justin Bieber.

Adele had previously monopolised her Beverly Hills suburb by splashing the cash on three properties in another gated community.
