Amira Lollysa and Andrew Kenton might have started out as a fan favorite couple on 90 Day Fiancé, but the latest episodes have shown the two faced with various obstacles, according to InTouch Weekly. So far this season, the two met face to face in Las Vegas for the first time after a whirlwind online romance, and Andrew proposed. After accepting, Amira, who is a native of France, returned home, only to find she couldn’t return to America because a travel ban against European countries had been imposed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although she had obtained a K-1 visa to come to America as Andrew’s fiancée, it was set to expire soon.
After doing research, Andrew suggested his fiancée should meet him in Mexico, where they would quarantine together for 14 days before returning together to the U.S. via the U.S.-Mexico border. Soon after arriving in Mexico, Amira was detained for three days and then deported back to France. Meanwhile, Andrew was shown sightseeing and enjoying his time in Mexico without her.
Viewers believe Andrew isn't supportive of his fiancee
Many viewers have taken to social media to encourage Amira to dump her fiancé, so it should come as no surprise that Amira herself seems reluctant to join Andrew in Serbia, as he suggested in the latest episode. One viewer commented on Lollysa’s Instagram that “Andrew showed his true colors when he continued his fun and vacation while you sat in a detention center. He did nothing to help.”
In the last episode, Amira’s father gave her an ultimatum, threatening to never speak to her again if she followed Andrew to Serbia. Her fans took to Twitter to praise her father and agree with his assessment of her fiancé. One fan commented, “This man speaks on behalf of the entire viewing audience” and posted a screenshot from the show captioned, “We don’t care about Andrew.” Another mocked Andrew by posting a screenshot of Andrew and writing, “‘You’re blaming me for Mexico?’ YES, Andrew. We all blame you for Mexico.”
