Chelsea agree £33m deal to sign Benoit Badiashile with Monaco star set to complete Blues transfer after medical | The Sun

CHELSEA have agreed a fee with Monaco to sign Benoit Badiashile, according to reports.

The centre-back is now set for a medical before finalising a switch to Stamford Bridge.

According to The Athletic, the Blues have had a £33million bid for Badiashile accepted by Monaco.

The Frenchman has also agreed personal terms with Chelsea and the transfer is set to be finalised soon.

Badiashile, 21, will undergo a medical before joining the club on a long-term deal.

He will become the third signing of the winter window for the Blues after the capture of striker Davide Datro Fofana.

Vasco da Gama's Andrey Santos is also set to join and only needs to pass a medical to become a Chelsea player.

Badiashile started out at Monaco's academy in 2016 and was promoted to the senior squad only two years later at the age of 17.

Since then, the France international amassed a total of six goals and three assists in 135 appearances.

Chelsea could now turn their attention to other transfer targets, with Potter plotting a raid on former club Brighton for Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister.
