Woman charged with murder in Washington Heights fatal stabbing

The female suspect accused of fatally stabbing another woman inside a Washington Heights apartment has been charged with the murder, cops said early Wednesday.

Kaylha Armand, 20, was charged with murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon in connection to the 4:30 p.m. Tuesday stabbing inside her apartment on West 163rd Street near Amsterdam Avenue, cops said.

Fateema Boston, also 20, of the Upper West Side, was discovered unconscious with multiple stab wounds, police said.

She was taken to Harlem Hospital and pronounced dead. Armand was taken into custody on scene and a knife was recovered.

The stabbing stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the two women, but cops could not elaborate or confirm the relationship between the pair.
