IF you struggle to get to sleep at night, it may be that you need to invest in a new mattress that's better suited to you.
But why does the key to a good night's sleep make such a big dent in our bank accounts?
Why are Tempur mattresses so expensive?
Tempur was the first mattress brand to bring memory foam mattresses out for us to buy and has built up an amazing reputation over the past decades… but what makes them cost so much?
Tempur uses NASA-developed memory foam technologies and are the only brand certified by the United States Space Foundation which they say is proof that their mattress quality is superior to other brands.
It uses high-density foam with an open cell structure which means the mattresses are comfortable, bouncy and breathable.
What works for one person may not work for others, but Tempur mattresses do generally receive extremely high praise from customers and have very good reviews.

How many years does a Tempur mattress last?
Another reason why Tempur mattresses cost so much money is that they last for a long time.
It's common for memory foam mattresses to sag or develop bumps at they age, but Tempur claim that this is not the case with their mattresses.
In fact, they've put their money where their mouth is by offering a ten year guarantee with every mattress that you buy from them.
Their mattresses also come with a promise that it will keep 95% of its height during this time, so maybe the steep price tag is worth it for the longevity.
