AMANDA Knox was the center of attention back in 2007 following her conviction for the murder of Meredith Kercher.

After being acquitted by the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation in 2015, Knox, 34, is looking to start a family.

Knox shared the news of her pregnancy during her podcast, Labyrinths.

"That's right, we're pregnant, and we've been recording audio of our own experience since day one. Stay tuned for our next mini-series, 280 days, where we take you on an intimate journey from conception to birth," Knox said.

On the podcast, Knox and her husband Christopher Robinson can be heard repeatedly showing "yes" following the results.

While there is no estimate on how far along Knox is, her baby is expected sometime in early 2022.

The news of her pregnancy comes just weeks after announcing that she suffered a miscarriage in May 2021.

The couple revealed that at an ultrasound appointment previously and they didn't find a heartbeat and knew something was wrong.

"We went back in a week later — that week sucked, waiting — and it hadn't grown. It didn't have a heartbeat," she recalled.

"That was confusing to me, because I thought, 'Why would there be a dead baby just hanging out in there? If it wasn't viable, why wasn't it going away?' My body didn't even know, and that felt weird to me. … I didn't know that you could have a missed miscarriage."

Following the news, Knox added in that they induced labor and it caused her pain that she had never experienced before.
