Vladimir Putin poses for Bear-Grylls-style photoshoot in Siberian mountains as he shows love for Mother Nature

The 65-year-old Russian leader was once famously pictured with his top off riding a horse but it seems the former intelligence officer also likes to go mushroom picking, go hiking in the great outdoors and going for scenic trips on boats.

It seems one of the most powerful men in the world has been taking a bit of a break over the summer after he recently attended the wedding of Austria's foreign minister Karin Kneissl and now it seems he's decided to have a bit of a holiday.

Mr Putin, donning a cowboy-style stetson hat and trying to look cool in dark shades, has been out and about exploring the beautiful Sayano-Shushensky Nature Reserve in south Siberia.

He's also been taking a boat trip on a lake, going for a ride in a light aircraft and walking up mountains to explore the scenery.

It seems he's intent on giving Bear Grylls a run for his money.

Putin didn't make the grade for the Depeche Mode video

The green, green grass of home

Flyin' high in the friendly sky

Have you got my best side?

Hold on, Trump's computer password is…

Old habits die hard…
