US Navy pilots ‘spotted UFOs moving at hypersonic speed and performing manoeuvres beyond physical limits of humans’

US NAVY pilots said they reported seeing strange objects flying at hypersonic speeds over the East Coast of the United States.

The daily sightings came over the course of 2014 and 2015 and were reported to the Pentagon and Congress.

Lieutenant Ryan Graves said he saw “strange objects” with “no visible engine or infared exhaust plumes” reaching at least 30,000 feet and flying at hypersonic speeds almost daily while training off the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt.

Graves, an F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot who has been with the Navy for 10 years, told The New York Times: “These things would be out there all day.

“Keeping an aircraft in the air requires a significant amount of energy. With the speeds we observed, 12 hours in the air is 11 hours longer than we’d expect.”

The unidentified flying objects were seen performing manoeuvres that were “beyond the physical limits of a human crew,” like stopping rapidly, turning instantly or immediately accelerating at hypersonic speeds, the pilots said.

The sightings were reported to the Pentagon’s shadowy Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, which confirmed earlier this month they still investigate claimed sightings of alien spacecraft.

In late 2014, a Super Hornet pilot said he almost hit one of the objects — which he said looked like a sphere encasing a cube — and an official mishap report was filed.

Another pilot, Lt. Danny Accoin said he could identify a flying object on his radar, missile system and infared camera but couldn’t actually see it in his helmet camera.

CAUGHT ON CAMERA

A minute-long video appears to show two encounters with the enigmatic phenomena where the pilots talk to each other about what they see on the radar screens.

“Look at that thing. It’s rotating,” one of them said.

“Wow, what is that, man?” another exclaims. “Look at it fly!”

Wow, what is that, man? … Look at it fly!”

At first the pilots interviewed in the report thought the objects were part of a top-secret drone program.

But after the near-collision they reason that government officials knew there were fighter pilots in the area and would not send drones to get in the way.

Navy spokesman Joseph Gradisher said it’s unclear what caused the sightings detailed in the article.

REPORTING 'UNEXPLAINED AERIAL PHENOMENA'

The Times report comes after the Navy in April sent out a new classified guidance for how to report the “unexplained aerial phenomena.”

A number of reports ensued but some cases could have been commercial drones, Gradisher said.

But, in other cases: “We don’t know who’s doing this, we don’t have enough data to track this. So the intent of the message to the fleet is to provide updated guidance on reporting procedures for suspected intrusions into our airspace.”

Neither Graves nor the other pilots or the Department of Defence would speculate on what the objects were.

“We’re here to do a job, with excellence, not make up myths,” one pilot said.

PENTAGON’S RECENT UFO ADMISSION

UFO INVESTIGATIONS 'CONTINUING'

Last week, the Pentagon admitted it has launched investigations into UFO sightings and it still analyses reports of flying saucers.

The Department of Defence went as far to reveal they will "continue" to probe such reports in a bid to keep the nation safe.

A spokesperson for the the Department of Defence was forced to admit that reports, claiming their investigations were stopped in 2012, were not true.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Speaking to the NY Post, Christopher Sherwood said in a statement: "The Department of Defence is always concerned about maintaining positive identification of all aircraft in our operating environment, as well as identifying any foreign capability that may be a threat to the homeland.

“The department will continue to investigate, through normal procedures, reports of unidentified aircraft encountered by US military aviators in order to ensure defense of the homeland and protection against strategic surprise by our nation’s adversaries.”

WHAT IS THE 'ADVANCED AEROSPACE THREAT IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM'?

The investigations are part of the US governments, Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Programme (AATIP).

The program began in 2007 and was run by military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo.

The existence of the AATIP was revealed in 2017, along with a 33-second DOD video that shows an airborne object being chased by two Navy jets off the coast of San Diego in 2004.

Defence experts across the world have been left shell shocked by this "bombshell revelation".

Nick Pope who launched secret probes into UFOs for the UK during the 1990s said this "new admission makes it clear that they really did study what the public would call 'UFO's."

UFOs have been repeatedly investigated by the American military, including a study code-named Project Blue Book which started in 1952.
