Two brothers, aged three and one, survive alone for TWO DAYS in the wreckage of car crash that killed their mother

  • Three-year-old Kylen Holliman and his one-year-old brother survived the crash
  • Kylen was found Monday morning wandering along a road in Camden, Arkansas 
  • Police were later led to the body of Kylen’s mother, 25-year-old Lisa N. Holliman
  • At the scene police also found Kylen’s little brother who was still in his car seat 
  • Authorities believe the crash happened two days before the children were found 

Two toddlers survived alone for two days after their mother was killed in a car crash in south Arkansas. 

The Ouachita County Sheriff’s Office said three-year-old Kylen Holliman was found Monday morning wandering along a road in Camden, about 85 miles southwest of Little Rock. 

Kylen was located on Highway 24 in Camden near Harvey’s Grocery.

Police returned to the area where the boy was found and discovered a car (pictured) wrecked in a deep ravine that wasn’t visible from the road

Authorities posted the boy’s photo online and learned that his mother hadn’t been seen for days.

At the scene, authorities found the body of the boy’s mother, who had been thrown from the vehicle, and his one-year-old brother awake and alert in his car seat.

Deputies were able to climb into the vehicle and remove the boy. 

Police later identified the children’s mother as 25-year-old Lisa N. Holliman. 

Photos of Kylen showed several scratches and cuts on his face and mouth. 

At the scene, authorities found the body of the boy’s mother, who had been thrown from the vehicle, and his one-year-old brother awake and alert in his car seat (pictured)

Arkansas State Police said the 2001 Chevrolet that Holliman was driving east on Arkansas 24 crossed the center line, struck a guardrail and overturned into a ditch

Authorities said he appeared to be in good health and didn’t suffer any major injuries. 

The younger child is being treated for dehydration.

Investigators believe the wreck happened two days earlier.  

Arkansas State Police said the 2001 Chevrolet that Holliman was driving east on Arkansas 24 crossed the center line, struck a guardrail and overturned into a ditch. 

A GoFundMe account has been set up for the Holliman family. It has raised more than $400 of its $8,500 goal.
