Shocking pictures capture Wild West brawl in Hull boozer where thugs fought with bar stools, pint glasses and tables

CCTV images shows the yobs causing up to £2,000 of damage during a rampage of violence on 8 July last year.

A glass was left "embedded" in the bar and a brave landlady who tried to break up the fight found shards in her eye.

Jack Adamson, 29, Ben Mullins, 25, and 24-year-old Damian Driver were all involved in mayhem at the Goodfellowship Inn.

Adamson was seen sitting calmly at a table with his mum before he was briefly joined by Driver — who threw a punch that knocked Adamson to the floor.

Prosecutor Phillip Evans told Hull Crown Court yesterday: "There's then a struggle between Messrs Driver and Adamson on the floor, and into that scene comes Mr Mullins.

"He runs across to Driver and Adamson and joins in.

"Your honour, it's clear from the footage that chairs and furniture were thrown, as well as glasses."

Adamson holds a glass behind his back but is then disarmed by his brother.

But when Mullins moves towards him Adamson "moves away, picks up a glass and smashes it over Mr Mullins's head".

Driver then throws a chair at Adamson as terrified staff called the landlady from her private dwelling upstairs.

She heard Mullins shout that he was going to "burn Adamson's house down" and she ordered him to leave.

But Mullins returned and "that reignited the conflict" — with chairs, tables and "several glasses thrown about and smashed".

The landlady was then struck on the shoulder by "either a chair or an elbow".

Mr Evans said: "She also said she ended up with glass on her right eyelid – fortunately on the outside.

"Her husband had done his best to keep the warring sides apart."

Another woman was also injured as she suffered bruising and swelling to her left elbow.

Adamson suffered a cut to his hand but declined treatment.

Police described the chaotic scene with glass littering the floor and bloodstains on the carpet.

Adamson, who had 19 previous offences on his record, admitted affray along with Mullins and Driver — who has 27 convictions.

Mullins and Driver both received 12-month prison sentences, suspended for 18 months, and were ordered to do 60 hours of unpaid work.

Mullins must also attend 19 sessions of a "thinking skills" programme, while Driver must have 15 days rehabilitation.

Adamson was sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended for 18 months.

He was also placed under a 90-day curfew between 8pm and 6am and was ordered to have up to 20 days rehabilitation.
