THIS is the shocking moment teens battered a man after he stood up to them for harassing commuters on a bus.

The man, aged in his 40s, was assaulted on board a route 154 bus in Meadow Road, Sutton, at around 7.20pm on June 14.


The footage was captured by a bystander and shows several teenagers at the back of the bus on the upper level.

According to the witness, they started spraying people in the back of the head with a compressed air canister.

In the video, the victim speaks out against them and things get heated with one teen.

The man stands up and asks if they have a problem but then sits back down.

A few moments later, the teen punches the victim in the face allegedly knocking out his front teeth and splitting his gums.

The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service attended and treated the man at the scene for a facial injury.

Police said the victim declined hospital treatment and no arrests have been made.

Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
