School chief pleads guilty to pooping under high school bleachers

He’s pooped out.

An ex-New Jersey superintendent pleaded guilty Wednesday to defecating under the bleachers at Holmdel High School – which his lawyer blamed on “runners Diarrhea.”

Thomas Tramaglini’s guilty plea will require him to pay a $500 fine and court costs, according to NJ.com, which reported that prosecutors agreed to dismiss the charges of public lewdness and littering.

Tramaglini, 42, the ex-Kenliworth Public Schools superintendent with a Ph.D from Rutgers University, had been accused of repeatedly pooping on campus grounds, prompting him to resign from his post.

He was busted back in May while jogging at Holmdel High School.

Tramaglini’s attorney, Matthew Adams, said Wednesday that his client suffers from a medical condition called “Runners Diarrhea” when he runs, according to NJ.com.

Adams disputed investigators’ claims that Tramaglini was pooping on campus on a daily basis.

“There’s no evidence he was ever a serial offender,” Adams told the news outlet. “We were ready to go to trial on some of the allegations about certain dates with GPS evidence from his Garmin running watch. That story needs to be told. So much went on today [in court] that flies in the face of everything, unfortunately, he’s been through. He’s been through hell and back. He deserves a story that tells the accurate picture.”
