Police officer is suspended ‘after dubbing CID “c***s in disguise” while vaping at crime scene cordon where woman has been stabbed four times’

  • The officer was caught on camera in the city centre of Bradford, West Yorkshire
  • The man, who has not yet been named, was dressed in his official uniform
  • An investigation is ongoing and the officer has been pulled from frontline duties

A police officer who was filmed dubbing CID officers ‘c***s in disguise’ while vaping at a crime scene cordon where a woman was stabbed four times has been suspended.

The officer, filmed in Bradford, West Yorkshire, was in the city centre when the shocking clip was filmed.

He later goes on to allege that officers in the Criminal Investigation Department, a branch of the police force home to most plain-clothed detectives, have a lazy working attitude.

The officer, filmed in Bradford, West Yorkshire, can be seen in the city centre when the shocking clip was filmed

The clip shows the officer dressed in his official uniform of a black jacket and yellow vest.

He was puffing on a vape pen when he launched into a tirade of profanities.

He can be heard saying: ‘You know what we call them, CID? C***s in disguise.

‘That’s what we call them.

‘That’s what they are, they’re a set of c***s.’

West Yorkshire Police Assistant Chief Constable Angela Williams told The Sun that investigations into the officer’s actions are ongoing.

She added he has been withdrawn from any frontline responsibilities and said: ‘I am dismayed and disappointed at the footage I have seen, which does not show the officer acting as I and the public expect or want.’
