Police launch desperate hunt for missing girl, 15, last seen wearing her dressing gown and slippers at 11pm on New Year’s Eve

Police have launched a desperate hunt for a missing 15-year-old girl who was last seen wearing her dressing gown and slippers on New Year’s Eve.
Soraya Baxter was at her family home on Warley Avenue in Morecambe, Lancashire, until around 11pm yesterday.
She was wearing a burgundy dressing gown and slippers but it is believed that she may have changed clothes.

She is described as being a mixed race female, approximately 5ft4, with a slim build and medium-length brown curly hair.
Lancashire Police are now attempting to locate Soraya, who has links to Manchester, and are appealing to the public for information.
PC Monk, of Lancaster Police, said: ‘We are extremely concerned about Soraya.

‘We are asking anybody who has seen her, or has any information at all that could help us find her, to get in touch as soon as possible.
‘Similarly we would urge Soraya herself, if she sees this appeal, to make contact with us and let us know she is safe.’
