Plane crashed into kitchen as two women and child ate breakfast

Two women and a child were rushed to hospital after a plane slammed into their kitchen and living room as they were eating breakfast.

The residents, who have not been named, were found to be suffering "deep psychological shock" after the incident in Stanitsa Novoschedrinskaya, Chechnya, Russia.

They were said to have had a 'miraculous escape' after the Antonov-2 reportedly hit a power line before ploughing into their family home.

The plane came through the roof and wall at 8am.

Pictures and video footage show the shocking devastation left behind, with part of the aircraft still wedged into the property.


The 66-year-old pilot was also taken to hospital with a collar bone fracture, according to local reports.

He reportedly told rescuers his plane suddenly "lost power".

There was no fire as a result of the crash but three villages lost electricity afterwards, according to reports.


The cause of the crash is being investigated but witnesses claimed the aircraft was flying low.

A local official said: "It was a miracle no-one was killed and that there was no fire."

An emergency services official said: "The pilot suffered a collar bone fracture.
