Nigel Farage would BOYCOTT a second referendum on Brexit because vote wouldn't be fair

The ex-Ukip boss insisted he'd rather go on holiday then campaign or vote in another referendum because it wouldn't really deliver Brexit at all.

The campaigner, who quit his old party last year, told Sky this morning: "Honestly, if we are offered Brexit in name only or Remain, why on earth would I vote?

"I would go on holiday. It could be an outrage."

And he added: "Remain shouldn't even be on the ballot paper, but if we are forced to this, it would have to be Remain or a clean Brexit."

The 54-year-old said the poll should have to have a certain level of turnout for any referendum to be valid too.

But he also said in an interview with Spears magazine that he "can't just walk away" from another fight – insinuating he'd have to be involved.

He said a second referendum would be a way to "stick it to" the elite by voting for Brexit again.

"People will love that – a good old-fashioned AngloSaxon two fingers up," he added. "If I have to do this again, next time, no more Mr Nice Guy.

"If they make us do this again they’re going to be in for a big surprise: a very big surprise.

Leaving on World Trade Organisation terms with No Deal is the best option for Britain to quit – and do it now, he argued.

"So let’s just do it. Let’s deliver the promise. Let’s not believe the scaremongering rubbish," he said.

"These things work themselves out."

Labour has this week said they will get behind a second Brexit referendum – with key figures insisting that Remain would have to be an option.

Mr Corbyn has enraged Leave voters by saying he wants to disrespect the result of the historic 2016 vote and tell Britain they should have another go.

But Sir Keir Starmer said that No Deal wouldn't be a choice either, so their choice could be between Mrs May's deal and no Brexit at all.
