The 36-year-old beauty was thrown across a table in a brawl with an older man at an upmarket bar in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, just one week before her murder, the bar’s manager told US website Radar.
“One regular – an old guy, about 80 years old – owned some restaurants in Philly, and was here with a buddy. He was super outgoing, the kind of guy who talked up everyone,” the manager told Radar.
“He was chatting it up with some ladies along with his friend when Christina walked in – they bought her a drink.”
Carlin-Kraft — who the manager said had a reputation at the bar and around town for acting out of control when under the influence — soon got into a war of words with the group of men. He said she “lashed out,” and started stealing drinks from the men.
“She grabbed [the man] by the arm, then he literally picked her up and threw her over a table and across the bar,” the manager recalled.
Police have arrested and charged a man after Carlin-Kraft was found dead in her apartment.
Jonathan Wesley Harris, 30, was getting off a bus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after fleeing the area when cops pounced on Wednesday.
The ex-con, who was released from prison in July, was taken into custody and charged with murdering the 36-year-old lingerie model at her home in Philadelphia.
Carlin-Kraft, who was once arrested for allegedly assaulting a restaurant worker at a swanky New York City eatery in 2016 – the charges were eventually dropped – was known as “a mess,” the bar manager insisted.
“She was flagged from every single bar in town,” he said. “Christina was known for her anger, drinking and bizarre behaviour. Whenever she’d come to a bar, whoever she was with promised to keep her in line. Well, that never happened.”
“Christina never went out without having an argument or fight with someone.”
According to NBC, Carlin-Kraft was spotted in the lobby of her apartment building at 6:30am on August 18 stumbling and “unable to walk.”
Just four days later the model was strangled at her flat.
Police are following several leads, including one man who allegedly robbed her at her lavish pad the weekend before her death.
Carlin-Kraft’s boyfriend Alex Ciccotelli Jr was also questioned by police, though his uncle insisted that he is not a suspect in the murder.
