Mum claims 'world's worst' parking firm drove her car 500 MILES while she was on Jamaica honeymoon – and even got fine at Asda car park

Zoe Parr, 42, was shocked to find a £70 fine from the supermarket – despite entrusting her car with a meet and greet parking company as she set off on her trip.

The penalty notice was sent with a CCTV camera snapshot of a stranger driving into Asda in her BMW 123d M Sport on the second day of her holiday.

The company, Manchester Airport Parking Services Ltd., was last month dubbed "the world's worst airport parking meet and greet" and has been repeatedly accused of losing cars, as well as damaging a Range Rover in a collision with a bus.

Mum-of-two Zoe, from Wolverhampton, said: "It's completely unacceptable what they have done.

"They have been using it as a freebie because the petrol tank was empty when it returned to us.

"It's was absolutely appalling behaviour from a professional meet and greet car parking firm.

"For them to have taken the car out for their own personal use whilst we were on holiday is quite cheeky really."

Asda has now dropped the fine, but the meet and greet parking company has still refused to apologise or refund her.

Zoe and her new husband, who doesn't want to be named, jetted off from Manchester Airport on a two-week honeymoon break on July 7.

They paid for a meet and greet service with Manchester Airport Parking Services Ltd, and Zoe made a note there was 50,000 miles on the clock.

They chose the firm because the website boasted customers get a "park happy experience with every stay", she said.

But when she landed back in Manchester a fortnight later, she discovered there was an extra 469 miles on the clock, leaving the petrol tank virtually empty.

"When the man came to drop it off it suddenly, he just dropped the keys in my hand and dashed away rapidly," she said.

"That was when we got into the car and released that something isn't quite right.

"There were crumbs all over the back seat and the petrol light was on so I knew then that the car had been driven."

Zoe said they "gobsmacked" at then being confronted with the fine from the Asda store in Oldham.

She said they also contacted the police, but were told they could not prosecute because they don't know who the driver was at the time of it being in Asda.

And she says she is yet to receive an explanation from the company – despite contacting them seven times.

"I have gone through hell trying to find out what happened to our car, it's actually spoiled our honeymoon completely," said Zoe.

"I feel like I have been burgled because the police cannot do anything in taking action against this firm. The whole experience has been absolutely disgusting."

Manchester Airport Car Parking Services has not responded to a request for comment."

It comes after the firm was accused of losing cars and racking up speeding tickets over the past few years.

One young family with a three-month-old baby claimed they were stranded for hours after the company allegedly crashed their car into a tree in June this year.

While another couple claimed the same firm had lost their car and denied ever having it – until cops located it 35 days later.
